Birthday in Bali 2017: Nusa Penida Tour & Kuta

This is it! My last Birthday in Bali post! There's only so much you can do in Bali for 5 days. And for first-timers, I'd say we were able to make the most out of our short yet super sweet trip. On our last day, we visited the beautiful island of Nusa Penida. I was able to find a cheap half-day tour package which covered some of the best spots in the island. Here are stories and photos from that day...

#IAMDIFFERENT : Penshoppe's Anti-Bullying Campaign

Bullying has become so normal and so rampant nowadays that it has become one of the world's largest societal problem. Countless lives have been lost, millions of hearts broken and lots of families destroyed because of it. It is very easy to say "stand up for yourself" or "just be yourself" but people and situations are never alike. And when it all comes down to it, sometimes all that a person going through it need are other people to draw strength from. Sometimes, they just need someone to take a stand with them and for them. In a world where being different results to being mocked, isolated, and bullied, now is the time to empower today’s youth to celebrate their uniqueness. This is what local retail brand Penshoppe aims to communicate with the launch of their newest campaign #IAmDifferent. More below...

Birthday in Bali 2017: Villa Panacea, Motel Mexicola, Sea Circus & Seminyak

Hello, I'm alive!!! Haha! So here's the 3rd installment of my Bali posts. We spent our 3rd day in the city just chillin' and relaxing while exploring Kuta & Seminyak. No tours that day! We were able to take advantage of our pool in the villa, woke up late and it was nearly lunchtime when we decided to leave. Here are photos from that day starting with photos of our beautiful villa in Seminyak! :)

How I Styled My Lipault Bags + French Riviera 2017 Collection Launch

I've only been acquainted with French travel/luggage bag brand Lipault recently and so far, I am obsessed with it! I thought it's just another foreign & expensive bag brand, but I was wrong. As a blogger & stylist, it has been my go-to bag & brand for casual or dressier days. They carry a very diverse collection which includes wallets, clutch bags, handbags, shoulder bags, laptop bags, backpacks, luggages and many more! Best part? The colors are super pretty & TDF. Each piece makes any outfit instantly cooler & classier. Here are some of my OOTD photos wearing Lipault, as well as photos from the génial launch which was held at the SM Mega Fashion Hall. Amusez-vous bien!!! :) Read more...

Pastel Perfect Summer with KEDS

My favorite sneakers brand just launched one of their sweetest collection to date! KEDS kicked off summer with the launch of their pastel-perfect sneakers held last month at Papa Diddi's Microcreamery where they paired their new styles with pastel-inspired flavored ice cream to cool everyone down this unbearably hot season. Scroll down below to see the different styles they just launched and photos from that day, and I tell you---they're just what candy colored dreams are made of. :)

Coldplay Singapore 2017: Arrival & Bunc Hostel

I am gonna work on my Singapore posts in between other posts because I can't wait to share with you the new and exciting things I experienced during my 8-day stay in this beautiful country. To be honest, it was a spur of the moment thing. I had no plans of flying to Singapore but a fortunate stroke of serendipity came my way. I think the music gods may have heard my pleas and saw my desperation because I was suddenly able to buy a ticket for the COLDPLAY concert in SG! What happened was, I've been scouring the net for a concert ticket anywhere in Asia for MONTHS. I will do anything and go anywhere even if I had to watch solo just to see my favorite band and be part of my dream concert. Then one day, Anagon asked me if I'm still looking for a ticket since a friend of her sister couldn't make it and is selling hers for almost the same cost. Walang ng isip isip, I said yes agad!!! I cried tears of joy, guys. Huhu.

So fast forward to March 28, the day of my departure to Singapore. I was ecstatic because I was on my way to watch my favorite band AND I will be touring around one of my favorite countries-- again! Last time I was there was 2015 with my whole family. My Dad was still fit for travel then, so it was pretty special. Ana and Tracy flew ahead of me (Tracy on the 23rd and Ana on the 26th) so we just met up when I got there. Here are stories and photos from my 1st & 2nd day in Singapore starting with my outfit photos!

#LoveEmThisChristmas & Love'Em Lit Holidays at Ayala Malls

I have not been feeling the Christmas spirit the past months and weeks because of all the work I had to do and the weather, but everything changed when I attended the Ayala Malls #LoveEmThisChristmas "Love'Em Lit Holidays" launch 2 weeks ago. After that, I was able to say, Pasko na nga!!! I love how Ayala Malls come up with new, special & delightful experiences every year for their shoppers and their loved ones especially during this Yuletide season. So what are they up to this time??? Grid Minded

It's been so long since I last did a solo outfit post. Noh? Haha. I usually just include it in my events post or travel posts. I will try to post more OOTDs, before my photos literally get lost in oblivion. They're just there, waiting patiently inside this neglected folder in my laptop. Sayang naman. Huhu. So here's one taken recently! Before the UNIQLO Fall/Winter 2016 event to be exact. Here's my take on grids:)

The Henry Hotel Manila: My Family's Unique Staycation

Last Holy Week, instead of leaving town, my family and I spent the weekend (Black Saturday & Easter Sunday) at The Henry Hotel Manila. My Dad originally chose Sulo Hotel and my Mom wanted to stay in Marco Polo, but since we don't do this often I thought why not try something different and memorable if we were to stay for 2 days and 1 night lang. So, I proposed if we could just book The Henry Hotel in Manila. I've been there before (Silka event) and I LOVED the place. You know me! I love anything vintage or rustic. So I was immediately sold. I sent them the link and some photos and they all agreed. I thought this was the perfect time to experience the place. It was the best place to bond with the family and also do some personal reflections. Here are our photos from that wonderful weekend starting with my OOTD that day!

Take a Bow

A solo OOTD post for a change! Haha. I'm a little better now after getting sick for more than a week. I still have coughing fits but it's now manageable. Anyway, 2 weeks ago, I attended the Creamsilk Transformations event at the World Trade Center. It's a good thing my package from GoBuy arrived a few days before, so I was able to wear something nice to the event! Should have worn dressier shoes, though. But, can't seem to stop wearing my new KEDS x Kate Spade pair. I'm obsessed. Photos below!

My Azalea Boracay Experience

As I've mentioned in my previous post, I got the chance to visit Boracay again this year (pahabol pa before the year ends yipeee) through Azalea Boracay, with the help of Kuya Melo and Paul! We flew via AirAsia and even though there was a typhoon, that didn't stop us from making the most out of our little vacation. Stories through photos! But first, OOTD...

Asia Trip 2015, THAILAND: Chiang Mai & Chiang Rai Tour!

We only had 2 days in Chiang Mai so we decided to spend what little time we had by joining tour groups. It was not easy finding the perfect company or group to participate in. I had to consider our itinerary vs what's offered, the company itself if it's legit, and most importantly, our budget. I had to research and google to death before I finally found one that perfectly fits our need and requirements! Scroll down below to  know which company I booked...

I Am A Striker

Just would like to share with you guys a project I was proud to be a part of-- the RRJ Strike Series! It just lasted for 4 weeks but I had so much fun doing all the themed photo challenges. But before that, not sure if you know or you noticed, that RRJ recently revamped their social media site and their campaign BIG time. I love it. RRJ's new campaign centers on urban fashion which strikers, like you and me, could wear in the real world. It's all about keeping real and being yourself in this ever changing world. Here are photos which I uploaded on Instagram!

Asia Trip 2015, THAILAND: Buff Hostel + First Night in Chiang Mai

Here's the continuation of my Thailand post! Must finish everything before the year ends, so... Anyway! You already know how we crossed the Cambodia-Thailand border by riding a $29 direct bus. We got off at the Mo Chit bus station and then from there rode a cab to Buff Hostel (which is near the bus station) where we camped for 1-night so we'd have some place to stay before our early morning Chiang Mai trip (bus is at Mo Chit station too) the next day. Photos and stories below! :)

VIVERE Salon Hair Color Session + Memo #InThesePants

I've neglected my hair for months now, letting my roots grow, making my hair look weird. It has turned into ombre, but not in a cute way. Haha! I've been needing and wanting to have it fixed for the longest time but been delaying it 'coz I wanted to let my hair and scalp rest muna (I have super thin hair, genetic okay?) and I also didn't have time to do it. Last Saturday, I finally had some spare time (sa wakas!) and I felt like I really had to style my hair again. You have those days. I know. Haha. So off I went to VIVERE Salon in Megamall! But first, let me take selfie. Joke. OOTD first...

@Catalogue.21 (IG shop) sweater, Memo jeans, Fly shades, SM Parisian shoes

Super love my new skinny pants from MEMO. Super soft and stretch. Fits my lifestyle perfectly. :) It was a super busy week and weekend for me, and I had to literally and figuratively run around the metro. Hopped from one place to another in complete ease by wearing this pair. :) Visit any MEMO store and check out their newly released #InThesePants collection which serves different body types. You're welcome. ;)

Now here are photos from my hair color session!
Located on the 5th level of SM Mega B

Quick lunch before my session starts

Thank you Ate for taking care of me!

Comfortable sink chairs. Yun ba tawag dun? Haha. Basta shampoo area. The level of the sink with the chair is just right. Doesn't hurt my neck.

 Busy weekend for them

Shampoo muna before they color my hair

 Ate drying my hair...

...and applying hair dye to my roots first or area where the color had faded.

After 10-15 minutes, they applied na to the rest of my hair:)

After waiting for almost 30 minutes for the color to set, time to shampoo again!

Senior hairstylist Sir Hector, also trimmed my hair and fixed my bangs! Yipee!

The end result was darker than what I expected, but I still love it!:) Color is dark ash blonde or something:)

Pardon my haggardness (I'm not fond of putting makeup anymore) but this is how my hair looked like after the whole process! LOVE!

With Sir Hector:)

Thank you Joel of Vivere for accommodating me on such a short notice and the staff of Vivere, Megamall for taking care of me. Will go back soon! Red naman!:) Hihi.

Uniqlo x Lemaire

When it comes to clothing brands that could stand the test of time and the ever changing trends, Uniqlo reigns supreme. Plus, they always offer classy yet stylish winter wear and high-quality basics! This holiday season, prepare to feast your eyes (and wallets) on their latest winning collaborations. A few weeks ago, I attended the launch of one of their hottest collection at the Mega Fashion Hall and it was awesome. Baguio 2015: Glo's Ville, Laperal House, Thrift Shopping & Family Love

Here are photos from my Baguio trip with the fam a few weeks ago! It was a few months in the making (had to cancel a few times) but I'm glad we finally pushed through. It was also my cousin Gabe's last out of town trip before heading back to Dubai where he works. We only stayed there for 1 night and 2 days but I had so much fun with my cousins! Also took the chance to finally take my new ASUS Zenfone Laser 2 out for a spin. :)

Kicks Start

I think it's pretty obvious how my sneakers obsession came about. Comfort & Style. I just had to. Can't run in pretty heels right? It's just the perfect choice for "girls on the go" who are after functionality yet wouldn't want to compromise style. It's pretty amazing how you could play with this trend & interpret it into 101 ways. You could always go for dainty romantic ala Taylor Swift, grunge ala Cara Delevigne, high-fashion mala Rihanna.  Db??? Haha. Anyway, aside from comfort & style, budget should also be put into high consideration. Lalo na for budget conscious girls like me! I'm so glad to have discovered SM Kicks, SM's new sneakers line, who conveniently married all 3 components!

Shopping Excursion at SM SHOE CITY!

One of the few things which excites me and makes me go on endorphin-overdrive is spending sweet time looking & trying on beautiful shoes. That's what happened a week ago when I visited the newly renovated SM SHOE CITY at the 4th level of SM Makati! 1 whole floor of awesomeness. And cliche as it might sound, they really got it all for you! Those who are brand conscious & don't really mind spending a few thousand bucks on a nice pair could shop from the international brands they carry like LAMB, Badgley Mischka, Marie Claire, Flogg, Dolce Vita, Chinese Laundry, Jeffrey Campbell, etc. Those who are budget conscious (like me!!!) could shop from Parisian or local brands like CMG, Sperry, Keds, etc. I can't really describe the whole experience without showing you photos, so here are photos from that day!

Mini OOTD: Bugis top, Wrangler jeans, H&M shoes! Haha. Maisingit lang.

Don't forget to take some shoe selfie and use the hashtag abooove.

Selfie muna before the madness! May busy sa likod. Lol.

So I had to choose from 25,000 pairs of shoes (can you believe it? Haha) and brought home a few favorites that are super budget friendly. But before we get to my picks, here are some pretty nice shoes & bags I saw during my search...

They have my new fave sneakers from KEDS!

I always bring my prenup clients here whenever they want to shop for shoes:)

My favorite from VOYAGER!

These too are from and by SM:)

Going back to Ladies Shoes, here are my favorites from Parisian!
Oxfords Love.

Love these booties!

No size? No prob!!! I asked Ate to check if they have the nude oxfords in my size in SM Cubao. Thought she'll take long, but no! She brought out this IPAD-ish device and checked it from there. Bongga!!!

Got this in 6.5 (I'm usually a 7). Sizing depends on the style of shoes:)

Also got a pair of white pumps! My first. Haha.

Pumps Twinnie. Hehe.

Shopping pa more! Nothing more than P1k. Love it.

Can't seem to keep myself from wearing my new oxfords the next day. Hihi. Perfect for work:)

Thanks Kelly for that fun afternoon! And also to my love Tracy who's the best shopping partner. Hehe.
