Ola!!! Welcome to my first post this new year! I'm not even gonna do a year-ender or year-starter post, I just know that 2018 was a whirlwind of everything good and bad. But I'm thankful for those "everythings" because I know I needed them to know more about life and also become the best version of myself. Not perfect, but aware & knowing. Last year, I visited a lot of wonderful places, met a lot of new faces, was blessed with amazing new opportunities (like styling a movie for the first time! Star Cinema pa and with my favorite loveteam Joshlia), ventured more into self-love & self-preservation and towards the end, I sadly lost a dear friend. On this 4th day of 2019, I am just grateful for this life I still have and I vow to make the most out of whatever time I have left in this crazy, beautiful world. So anyway, sharing with you guys what I did over the holidays! Sayang kasi the photos so sharing them with all of you before I permanently tuck them away in my external hard drive haha. More below..

#LiveNeverBefore By Making #TimeforMom Everyday
Living in the fast lane and living independently, I rarely get some time off. Due to the nature of my work, I am always on the go and always glued to my phone. I can't count in two hands how many family events I missed out on, plans I bailed out from. When I do get some free time, I usually spend it resting in my apartment or travelling. Now, I've come to realize that I've taken a lot of people for granted, especially my Mom (and Dad). Over the years and up until now, I've learned and still learning, that time is best spent with your loved ones. Read more...

New Chill Spot in QC: 5YNCO BAR
I just might have found my new favorite place to chill at and it's just located within a few minutes drive from our turf, Cubao. Here's what happened. A few weeks ago, the gang (meaning childhood friends and cousins) decided not to do gutter hits, which is you know, our usual. Hehe. There are days when we feel like going someplace else where we can drink, listen to good music, exchange stories and dress up a little. In short, change of scenery din minsan. Yes, we see each other every week if not everyday, and yes we're clingy like that. Haha. Anyway! Our default go-to place has always been El Chupacabra in Makati but that time I was not in the mood to wait in line for an hour or two before being seated. I've always wanted to make tambay in a place similar to Finder's Keepers but close to home and more chill and relaxed.
And then I remembered that my friend Rech (a longtime friend from FIP Styling Class) invited me a few weeks ago to visit her new bar and resto in Timog named 5ynco. So I texted her if they have beer (since we are all beer drinkers), asked her the price per bottle, she invited me to drop by that night and the rest is history!!! Here are photos and stories from that epic night...

Taiwan Diaries 2016, Day 4: Taipei 101, Tiger Mountain and Going Home
Finally, here's the last installment of our Taiwan 2016 adventure! I feel a little sad (as always) whenever I finish blogging about a trip because it feels like I'm closing a chapter in my life. Waw deep. Haha. But I also feel a little excited because I get to start again-- new pages for new adventures! Anyway, on our last day in Taipei, we visited the 8th tallest building in the world, Taipei 101. Back in 2004 up to 2009, it was classified as the world's tallest building. WOOOW. We also tried to view it from the top of a mountain. Stories and photos below...

Taiwan Diaries 2016, Day 3: Ruifang, Pingxi, Shifen & Jufien
Hello beautiful people! I will try to finish all of my Taiwan posts today so I can move on to Sagada, Krabi and Malaysia. Each of these places represents different cultures, different experiences, all amazing and unique. You'd love it! I think it might help with your summer vacation planning. So on our 3rd day in Taipei, Taiwan we explored the Pingxi & Ruifang districts. To recap, I went there last year with my my siblings and Nico. :) Scroll down below for photos and stories!
