How Nico and I Spent our 5th Anniversary in Taal Vista Tagaytay

Nico and I aren't big on anniversaries. We do birthdays best though. Haha! But this year we wanted to do something special since we're celebrating an important milestone in our relationship--reaching half a decade! Can you believe it? We've had our ups and downs and there was a time we had to take a brief time off but we're still here. Will save our story for later, but for now will share with you our amazing anniversary celebration in one of my favorite hotels, TAAL VISTA in Tagaytay! :) Read on to know more...

Staycation at Zen Rooms Melbourne Makati

Got sick after I came home from Siquijor so I decided to hibernate for two weeks so I could recuperate and recharge. And for that, our staycation in Zen Rooms Melbourne Makati was just perfect timing! I spent 3 days and 2 nights just resting, catching up on sleep, watching Netflix, eating, chilling and blogging. It was just what I needed. Sharing with you a review of the place but please forgive me if I would only be able to share a few snaps. My phone gave up on me last week and all of my files (including photos huhu) all got deleted. Sadly, I wasn't able to back them up. Huhu. Anyway, read on to know more!

Cebu Getaway 2017: Luxe Island Life in Bluewater Sumilon

Here's Part 2 of Nico's Birthday Celebration in Cebu last October! As I said in my first post, we spent 2 days in Cebu City before heading to our main destination, Bluewater Resort in Sumilon Island. It was Nico's first time in Cebu so I wanted him to experience a few firsts-- legit Cebu lechon, see Magellan's cross and see the oldest church in the Philippines Sto. Nino Basilica. Achieve! I was super excited for our trip to Sumilon, south of Cebu, because it will also be my first time. Here are photos and stories from our stay at one of the best resorts I have ever been to...

Cebu Getaway 2017: Quest Hotel & Cebu City

Hello mga lodis! Haha. Finally posting about our 5-day Cebu trip last October! It was actually my surprise birthday gift for the jowabels Nico. I had a hard time keeping it from him and ended up revealing my plans a week before our trip because he suddenly brought up other plans on the same dates. Haha kainiz. Anyway, here are photos from our first 2 days which we spent in the city...

For our last 2 days in Singapore, Tracy and I transferred from Chinatown to Orchard Road. We stayed at the new and fancy Quincy Hotel where I had the best sleep, the best food, the best time and the best service. I also discovered and explored new places on my own! So much fun! Here are photos from our overnight stay at the lovely quincy Hotel. Will share with you photos of places I explored on my next post. Read on...

Coldplay Singapore 2017: Hangout@Mt.Emily, Orchard Road, Chinatown

Sorry for the delay but here's the continuation of my Coldplay in Singapore 8-day adventure! On my 3rd day in Singapore, we packed our bags and transferred to our 2nd home-- Hangout@Mt.Emily. I've stayed here before and I loved it, so I was pretty excited to see and experience it again. Here are photos of our home for 3 days, as well as photos from our little excursions around Singapore. :)

Hotel Review: B Hotel Alabang & Bellevue Manila

In this super fast paced world, it's okay to take a break once in a while. Sometimes, taking a breather does not require a few hours flight or a few hours drive. Anyone could do some R&R within the metro! Two weeks ago, Nico and I spent our weekend in B Hotel, a 3-star hotel located in the heart of Alabang. We were also given access to their "mother", grander & bigger hotel, Bellevue. I already reviewed their Q.C. branch which was their newest venture and I had nothing but praises for it, so I expected nothing less from their 2 other hotels. The ones in Alabang are more business-y, classy & classic. It was such an awesome experience and MORE. I didn't want to leave. Haha. Here are photos!

Hotel Review: B Hotel, Quezon City

I am always on the lookout for nice places in the city where I could escape to whenever I feel all riled up from stress and work. So happy I got to experience the beauty that is B Hotel, Bellevue's new venture in Scout Rallos near ABS-CBN. If it's by Bellevue, it must be great. I've been to B Hotel & Bellevue Alabang, also Bellevue Bohol as a guest and as a stylist for their ads and I could truly say that they're one of the best hotels I've ever been to. B Hotel Q.C. is a little different from the others 'coz it's more modern, more hip, artsy and super instagrammable! Here's what happened during our fun overnight stay in B Hotel...

The Henry Hotel Manila: My Family's Unique Staycation

Last Holy Week, instead of leaving town, my family and I spent the weekend (Black Saturday & Easter Sunday) at The Henry Hotel Manila. My Dad originally chose Sulo Hotel and my Mom wanted to stay in Marco Polo, but since we don't do this often I thought why not try something different and memorable if we were to stay for 2 days and 1 night lang. So, I proposed if we could just book The Henry Hotel in Manila. I've been there before (Silka event) and I LOVED the place. You know me! I love anything vintage or rustic. So I was immediately sold. I sent them the link and some photos and they all agreed. I thought this was the perfect time to experience the place. It was the best place to bond with the family and also do some personal reflections. Here are our photos from that wonderful weekend starting with my OOTD that day!
