Staycation at Zen Rooms Melbourne Makati

Got sick after I came home from Siquijor so I decided to hibernate for two weeks so I could recuperate and recharge. And for that, our staycation in Zen Rooms Melbourne Makati was just perfect timing! I spent 3 days and 2 nights just resting, catching up on sleep, watching Netflix, eating, chilling and blogging. It was just what I needed. Sharing with you a review of the place but please forgive me if I would only be able to share a few snaps. My phone gave up on me last week and all of my files (including photos huhu) all got deleted. Sadly, I wasn't able to back them up. Huhu. Anyway, read on to know more!

For our 3-day staycation, I chose Zen Rooms Melbourne Makati because of their nice pool! And as I've mentioned before, I am a pool kind of girl so it was a no-brainer. Hehe. This budget hotel is actually a mid-rise boutique condotel located along Senator Gil Puyat Ave. Just type Melbourne Makati Residence on Waze and it would appear immediately. Aside from the nice pool, I also chose it because of its strategic location. It's just a few minutes away from World Trade Center and our favorite food places along Macapagal Avenue! It's also just a 10-minute walk to Buendia MRT.

 It's the blue building

We stayed inside a Studio Apartment w/ Double Bed and it was spacious!

The room has its own kitchen, dining table, refrigerator. Love that there's a microwave inside! Plates, cups and utensils were also available.

 Our bed!

So comfy! Slept like a baby!

Nico loved the flatscreen TV with cable

Comfy bed and clean sheets-- check!

Private toilet and bath with hot and cold shower

Free toiletry bag!

 We even have a balcony!

At ZEN Rooms Melbourne Makati (and all the other Zen Rooms branches), your comfort is their priority. Their wide range of accommodation includes everything from free WiFi, air-con, a comfy bed, in-room shower and always a clean room. Additionally, the apartment offers elevator and 24-hour front desk. They also offer handicapped-accessible and non-smoking rooms. For guests' entertainment, there's a flatscreen TV in every room with cable. Their assigned staff, Kuya Paul, was also very kind and accommodating.

They also have a 2-bedroom suite!!!

For families or barkada

Do take note that Zen Rooms is an actual hotel chain and not just a booking website! They partner with unit owners of different high-end condos, fully manage their units and brand them as Zen. You can then book rooms through www.zenrooms.com and the ZEN Rooms Mobile App. They have around 20 to 30 rooms per ZEN Home property! Cool!

We even had the pool to ourselves! So much fun. :) They also have a kiddie pool!

Swam and listened to music while waiting for sunset. So magical.

After our Zen Rooms experience, I now know why it's every budget traveler's favorite hotel chain! They get the full hotel experience at a fraction of the price. At ZEN you get your money's worth and you're guaranteed a quality experience because they make sure they check every room before they put it up on their site. We also stayed at Zen Rooms in Bohol and we had a wonderful experience! More on that soon. Thanks Zen for the fun R&R. Can't wait to be back! :)
