Unbearable Lightness of Being

Hello, hellooo! I know I haven't been posting outfit posts lately, so here's one to close my blogging streak today. But before that, chika minute muna! How are you guys? I'm currently busy preparing for my 20-day birthday trip this August. Going Asian country hopping with Nico and doing so with a limited budget. Hope we survive and not end up begging for food. Haha. I shall document our trip and share all of our fun (and anguish) with you. I am almost done booking all our accommodations via AGODA. I could spend hours just browsing the site! It's my virtual happy place. Got some pretty great deals which I will share with you in a separate post. Anyway, here are some outfit photos from last month!

Styling Stint: COMFIT Spring / Summer 2013 Campaign!

If someone told me years ago I'd be styling an ad campaign or a billboard one day, I'd have said they were crazy. But I guess crazy does amazing things sometimes. Now here I am, trying to live my dreams one day at a time. Never felt luckier and alive my whole life. :) It's an experience and an honor to have gotten this project and to have worked with such an amazing & inspiring team. Thank you Patrick of Comfit for entrusting me with this! Now here are photos from our 60's MOD inspired campaign shoot for shoe brand COMFIT!:)

And then my camera's battery decided to call it a day. So no more photos after this shot. Haha. Anyway, we finished early so everyone went home happy.:) Also my first time to have worked with THE BJ PASCUAL. Omg it was such an honor, I'm a HUGE fan! He was so nice and helpful and super cute too.:) Hope I get to work with him again:) Photos will be up in Comfit stores soon! Haven't seen the billboard yet but saw the photo (from Comfit's instagram) and it was enough to make me kilig. Hope I get to shoot more campaigns this year. Crossing my fingers. Cross yours with me pls? Hihi. Love you! :)

Dotted Apparition

(Wrote this earlier, fell asleep before I could even click publish! hehe) - Hello Philippines! It's now 7am and I'm still up. I often stay up late when I don't have errands or places to go to in the morning.  I'm still waiting for the corned beef meal I ordered from Jollibee. Togooool, i'm so hungry naaaa. Anyway, I just finished watching epic harlem shake videos (don't know how I end up watching weird random videos) and now I can't stop dancing (or in my case, wiggling). Haha. Anyway, I'm so sleepy I fell asleep for 10 minutes typing 1 word. Lols. So leaving you now with an outfit post! Here's what I wore to the Vietura event at Sofitel. We were asked to come in our most chic all white attire.

My eveyday style is bipolar but I am forever drawn to vintage. That explains my polka dress, cute bow shoes and thrifted A-line skirt. I'm sure it's pretty obvious how much I love MOD 60's. Speaking of which, not sure if you know na but I styled Comfit's summer campaign!:) I even used this dress above for the shoot hehe. It's not yet super out but they already posted and released 2 official photos. Here they are!

Hello, hello! It's almost 5am and I have an early morning styling job (for K) so I need to sleep now na! But first, here's a quickie (hehe) entry. Outfit shots from 2 weeks ago when I went to the very exclusive NARS x Andy Warhol event at Skye. Guests were asked to come in their best 60's inspired ensembles. Concocted (drinks? haha) mine in a rush so sana achieve naman! Photos!:)

So in love with this dress! So MOD, so Twiggy, so 60s. I really think I might have been born in the wrong era. Hehe. Anywaaay. I built my outfit around this cute swing dress from The Closet Goddess. It's also cute when worn without stockings and with flats! The purple bangle from A Boutique and my Primadonna oxford platform heels completed my look! Loving this cute vintage mini satchel bag from Suy too. :)

It's All in Black and White

I finally got my blogging mojo back! Inspiration came one day in the form of my newly acquired Olympus PL-1 camera. Haha. I convinced my blog bff Ana to buy one too! But more on that later...

With new inspiration came old ones too. As my favorite band Coldplay sang, "I'm going back to the start...". I will post random stuff as much as possible, just like 4 years ago when this blog came to light. If you read my 2008 posts you'd meet the slightly emo me! Haha, don't judge. I even wrote 2 songs (which my friends transformed into a song-- a good one actually!) and a few poems. Sometimes when I feel like deleting this blog or ultimately burnt-out, I just read back and it gives me perspective. I wanna say a humble thank you to everyone who took this crazy/beautiful journey with me. Hope you've all found your dreams, as I've found mine. Rooting for all of you. <3

Anyway, finally, here are new outfit shots taken using my Olympus PL-1 cam! I still edited the photos using Picmonkey.com coz I wanted a vintage effect. But as it is, photos doesn't need editing na.:)

If you're thinking of buying a nice non-SLR compact cam, THIS IS IT.  Wish I bought mine from Kimstore, it's cheaper by P7k! Well, mine came with add-ons like memory card, case, tripod, so keri na din. Lakas ko lang mag sales talk noh. Haha.

Mich thinks I shop a lot. For the record, I don't (okay in denial lang haha). So when I saw this luggage at SM Depstore, I knew it was made for me. Naman. But Mich asked me, "luggage or camera"? Shempre camera na! So to appease her I told her I'd sell some of my things to offset the gastos. Thus the rebirth of my BLOG SHOP!!! I uploaded a number of clothes and shoes, so pls adopt them! Heh. A few people already sent their orders, so wag papahuli! Thanks beautiful people.:)
