Styling Stint: COMFIT Spring / Summer 2013 Campaign!

If someone told me years ago I'd be styling an ad campaign or a billboard one day, I'd have said they were crazy. But I guess crazy does amazing things sometimes. Now here I am, trying to live my dreams one day at a time. Never felt luckier and alive my whole life. :) It's an experience and an honor to have gotten this project and to have worked with such an amazing & inspiring team. Thank you Patrick of Comfit for entrusting me with this! Now here are photos from our 60's MOD inspired campaign shoot for shoe brand COMFIT!:)

Photography: BJ Pascual
Styling: Aisa Ipac
Asst. Styling: Kaye Awatin
Hair: Katchie Mejias
Shot at BJ's studio, props provided by Comfit team.

Thank you Jhajing, Jian Lasala, Veva Deeluxe for some of the clothes!:)

Here's a few behind the scene photos:)
Thank you Kaye for helping out! You're the best ever!

And then my camera's battery decided to call it a day. So no more photos after this shot. Haha. Anyway, we finished early so everyone went home happy.:) Also my first time to have worked with THE BJ PASCUAL. Omg it was such an honor, I'm a HUGE fan! He was so nice and helpful and super cute too.:) Hope I get to work with him again:) Photos will be up in Comfit stores soon! Haven't seen the billboard yet but saw the photo (from Comfit's instagram) and it was enough to make me kilig. Hope I get to shoot more campaigns this year. Crossing my fingers. Cross yours with me pls? Hihi. Love you! :)

Dotted Apparition

(Wrote this earlier, fell asleep before I could even click publish! hehe) - Hello Philippines! It's now 7am and I'm still up. I often stay up late when I don't have errands or places to go to in the morning.  I'm still waiting for the corned beef meal I ordered from Jollibee. Togooool, i'm so hungry naaaa. Anyway, I just finished watching epic harlem shake videos (don't know how I end up watching weird random videos) and now I can't stop dancing (or in my case, wiggling). Haha. Anyway, I'm so sleepy I fell asleep for 10 minutes typing 1 word. Lols. So leaving you now with an outfit post! Here's what I wore to the Vietura event at Sofitel. We were asked to come in our most chic all white attire.

Jhajing dress used as top, Thrifted skirt, Vintage belt, Dear Kate bow pumps

My eveyday style is bipolar but I am forever drawn to vintage. That explains my polka dress, cute bow shoes and thrifted A-line skirt. I'm sure it's pretty obvious how much I love MOD 60's. Speaking of which, not sure if you know na but I styled Comfit's summer campaign!:) I even used this dress above for the shoot hehe. It's not yet super out but they already posted and released 2 official photos. Here they are!

printed pants from Veva Deeluxe

So excited to see the rest! Thank you Kaye Awatin for helping out! Hair by Katchie Mejias, Photos by THE Bj Pascual:)

Okay, gotta run. Driving today! Started driving alone recently. Wish me luck. Pray for me! Hehe. Love you guys:) Have an awesome day!:))

More more news for you my shopaholic friends!

1.Walk Comfortably with COMFIT

Androgynous Diva

Gone are the days when women can’t fill in men’s shoes – both literally and figuratively. For the fashion-forward and confident modern day diva who isn’t afraid to break fashion stereotypes, oxfords, tasseled loafers, and brogues make a bold statement. Nothing spells sexier than how a woman can carry menswear without abandoning her female charm.

Bohemian Rhapsody
With the Filipinas’ affinity for the impeccable effortless look, the bohemian aesthetic never goes out of style. This being the case, Comfit updates the boho-chic trend with eye-popping Aztec prints, pastel-colored weaves, and handcrafted knit leather and jute. It goes without saying that this is ideal for ladies who just want to look easy, breezy, and beautiful.

Floral Fixation Whoever said florals are only for summer must have been only kidding. Beaming with multihued bright colors, Comfit’s floral fixation can turn any look from drab to fab. Now that is something one would want all year long. From a range of embellishments and prints, florals will surely make any woman bloom with style and confidence.

Nautical Nirvana
With more rainy days ahead, the nautical design makes a splashing comeback. Stripes are reinvented with a twist of new colors. Wedged platforms are accented with jute rope soles and statement floral and bowtie ornaments for the ideal Caribbean appeal.

Urban Glamazon
As the modern goddess would say, “the higher the heels the closer to god.” One can never have too many platforms and pumps. Who can resist new designs when heels are constantly reinvented and given new twists? This season Comfit offers a refreshing take on high heels with pastel color blocking, thick-heeled platforms, and warrior-inspired wedges. When heels are this fierce, who wouldn’t agree that height is indeed might?
