How Clothes Can Make or Break You

Ever since I was young, I've always been drawn to nice clothes and different fashion trends. I remember how I'd always be the overdressed (sometimes odd) one during family gatherings or parties and I loved it! Holidays and special occasions excite me because it's always a chance for me to dress up. Fast forward to now, I am still into clothes and fashion but I now share it with the world through my blog and had turned that passion into a job by becoming a fashion stylist! Of course, this job comes with great responsibility. When you're in the fashion industry, being stylish and presentable is always a requirement and I always make sure I have beautiful clothes on hand for photo shoots. I have been to hundreds of events and styling gigs and I have observed and proven that wearing nice clothes and carrying it well could change other people's attitude and perception of you. Styling Stint: COMFIT Spring / Summer 2013 Campaign!

If someone told me years ago I'd be styling an ad campaign or a billboard one day, I'd have said they were crazy. But I guess crazy does amazing things sometimes. Now here I am, trying to live my dreams one day at a time. Never felt luckier and alive my whole life. :) It's an experience and an honor to have gotten this project and to have worked with such an amazing & inspiring team. Thank you Patrick of Comfit for entrusting me with this! Now here are photos from our 60's MOD inspired campaign shoot for shoe brand COMFIT!:)

And then my camera's battery decided to call it a day. So no more photos after this shot. Haha. Anyway, we finished early so everyone went home happy.:) Also my first time to have worked with THE BJ PASCUAL. Omg it was such an honor, I'm a HUGE fan! He was so nice and helpful and super cute too.:) Hope I get to work with him again:) Photos will be up in Comfit stores soon! Haven't seen the billboard yet but saw the photo (from Comfit's instagram) and it was enough to make me kilig. Hope I get to shoot more campaigns this year. Crossing my fingers. I'm a slave to fashion.

Sorry for not updating loves. I'm having a CRAZY week with all the work and pullouts for shoots. I'm so exhausted!!! I haven't had a decent sleep for days. It's fun, yes, but imagine a tiny me carrying 5-7 bags full of shoes, accessories, clothes from Glorietta to Greenbelt then back to Glorietta then Megamall. Crazy. I think all the bags combined are actually heavier than me. I even grew a mouse sized muscle from all the carrying. For serious.

I wanna dedicate this entry to all the stores who were kind enough to accommodate me and my sometimes crazy requests.  To Ms. Ruby Gan of SCHU and Myth, The Ramp, Ms Ayet of Accessorize, Topshop, GAUPO shoes, EGG, Manels, Pill, Ms. Ann of Cosmopolitan, Unarosa and most especially to the kind and sweet people of SM and Forever 21! Shoutout to Ms. Athena and Kathy. You're the bestest. :) You all made my life easier just by saying yes. Thank you. :)

No rest for tomorrow. Last pullouts at WAGW and Pill. Now my scoliosis is acting up and my back aches so much. Argh. By the way, I just learned recently that Gela is now our new intern!!!:) We're supposed to meet up today so I could have someone help me with pullouts but I left home late. Anyway, she's gonna be at our shoot this weekend. so I'm quite excited. Excited to meet you Gela! Wish me luck guys. Hope I nail it. :)
