Two weeks ago, I, together with a few blogger friends and members of the press, went on a surprise road trip adventure! Our trip was fueled by Shell V-Power Nitro+ and our cool rides were provided by Mazda Philippines. The invitation came at the last minute and normally I decline such invitations 'coz of other commitments, but I quickly said yes because one, I patronize and use Shell fuel in real life as a driver and two, I just love events which involves travel and adventure! It was a fun-filled day spent with my favorite fuel brand, blog friends and new friends! Stories through photos below...
I am not a huge fan of fitness anything (gym, yoga, etc), but I do love the great outdoors! In college (and until now), I was a member of UST Mountaineering Club (after going through tests & deliberations as an applicant-- for a year!) and it was truly one of the highlights of my life. I was able to climb and conquer numerous places & mountains such as Batulao, Tapulao, Makiling, Malasimbo, Daguldol, Pinatubo etc. I have met amazing people who are still my friends until now. It has been years since my last "official" climb but my love for the mountains never waned. Because of this, I've always been in the lookout for nice and comfortable outdoor shoes that is both stylish & functional. One word that stuck with me? TRACTION! Until now, it's one of my deciding factors when buying shoes. One brand that's quite popular in the "mountaineering" circle is Merrell. I've always wanted a pair, ever since I started climbing, but I didn't have enough money back then. Fast forward to now, I'm still a huge fan of the brand. That's why when they invited me to the launch of their new collection + an exciting new partnership with DOT, I immediately said yes. I just couldn't wait to see the new line they are launching. Before I blog about Cambodia, ito muna! Sharing with you my super fun Negros getaway last month with my family. I cancelled my Batanes prenup for this. Hihi. Well, my Mom forced me to sa totoo lang. All worth it though! Got to visit my Lola, eat amazing food, bond with my aunts and uncles from the Aguirre side and also spend time with my cousin John, Tita Beck and Tito Jim who went here for a vacation from the US. Haven't seen them for years!:) Best part? We got to do all the bonding at my Tita Chole's beautiful rest house in Cauayan! Stories through photos!
I have never been to Boracay during Labor Day and I've never experienced the craze that is LaBoracay. I got invited before but had to turn it down because of work and a planned family outing at a private resort in Puerto Galera. I don't think I want to go to Boracay just to party all day and all night. Haha! But when I got an email from Petrol asking me if I want to experience Laboracay with them, and when I saw the activities they prepared in alignment with their "Journey to Freedom" campaign, I said yes agad agad! The campaign is all about being free and conquering yourself and your fears even when you have a lot of things on your plate. I love the whole concept, their whole campaign and also the itinerary they prepared for us. Bucket list worthy. ;) Got super ecstatic lalo when I found out that they also invited my gf Anagon plus David Guison and Lissa Kahayon. And so, the journey begins!
The Roxy Outdoor Fitness Girls Camp might just be has just become one of the highlights of my year! When KC of Primer asked me to go, I said yes instantly without knowing what to expect. I just thought, if it's Roxy & Primer, it should be good. They only invited 5 bloggers and I'm happy to have gone through this awesome experience with amazing people.
