Enjoy A Cup Of Nescafe Capuccino

My work requires me to run around the metro and hop from one place to another. It's somewhat draining, but when you do the things you love it's always worth it. In between the crazies, I seldom pause for breaks. Let me tell you a secret. I'm not really a coffee addict. I'm a tea kind of girl. But I do drink coffee. There are days I crave for it or i suddenly miss the taste. The taste i miss? Best Online Photo Editor Review: FOTOR!

I am not very good at editing photos. The only thing I could do with Adobe Photoshop is adjust the brightness, contrast and size of my photos. Oh! I once created a collage using it. Not very enticing. Haha. Imagine the work I had to do when posting outfit shots or travel posts where photos are required to be beautiful. Welcome to my real blogging life. So in desperation, I turned to online photo editors to save my life...and they definitely did!!! I used to edit my photos using Picmonkey & Pixlr, but that's before I discovered my new love, FOTOR!!! I've been using Fotor for months now, way before I got an email from the Fotor team asking me to do a review of their site. So here I am sharing one of my trade secrets! Ladies and gents, here's how I edit my photos through Fotor. I also discovered more editing secrets while doing this post. Will make an outfit pic from my recent Boracay trip an example. Did I mention it's free? Yeeep.

 

 Step #1: Open FOTOR. Click on "Edit a Photo" and choose photo to edit. Obviously. Hehe.

Step 2: Photo is too dark for my taste (naks taste), so I clicked on "Basic Edits" and then chose "Curves" and adjusted brightness...

Step #3: Wanted a semi washed out background, so after brightening used Fotor's photo effects...

Chose "Dallas" under "Classic" category

Step #4: Clicked on Frames, then chose Polaroid.

Step #5: Added text and clip art on my polaroid too!

Photo edited like a pro in just 5 easy steps!:) Also tried making a fun montage (a work of art that is made up of several different kinds of things) using Fotor!

Metrobank Prepaid Card: Shopping Made Easy!

I was one of the lucky few to have witnessed the exclusive launch of Metrobank's newest venture, the Metrobank Prepaid Card, a month ago at Hyve. I'm sure most of you already know what a prepaid card is but to give light to those in the dark, it is a card that you can conveniently use as a a credit card (make a purchase anywhere with just one swipe plus unlimited perks and discounts from partner establishments) and also acts as an ATM card (load it up online, thru phone or via Metrobank's atm machines and withdraw money anytime). Best part? Aside from the fact that you could get one without initial deposit or not worry about a maintaining balance (there's none!), Metrobank's prepaid card is not in any way connected to a bank account so you're sure it's safe to use! No sharing of personal information. Cool huh? Now you don't have to bring cash when shopping and not feel praning. Also, unlike credit cards (damn you cc's), you could easily monitor your spending and not worry about going overbudget. And that's why I need this in my life. Haha.
