Best Online Photo Editor Review: FOTOR!

I am not very good at editing photos. The only thing I could do with Adobe Photoshop is adjust the brightness, contrast and size of my photos. Oh! I once created a collage using it. Not very enticing. Haha. Imagine the work I had to do when posting outfit shots or travel posts where photos are required to be beautiful. Welcome to my real blogging life. So in desperation, I turned to online photo editors to save my life...and they definitely did!!! I used to edit my photos using Picmonkey & Pixlr, but that's before I discovered my new love, FOTOR!!! I've been using Fotor for months now, way before I got an email from the Fotor team asking me to do a review of their site. So here I am sharing one of my trade secrets! Ladies and gents, here's how I edit my photos through Fotor. I also discovered more editing secrets while doing this post. Will make an outfit pic from my recent Boracay trip an example. Did I mention it's free? Yeeep.

Step #1: Open FOTOR. Click on "Edit a Photo" and choose photo to edit. Obviously. Hehe.

Step 2: Photo is too dark for my taste (naks taste), so I clicked on "Basic Edits" and then chose "Curves" and adjusted brightness...

Step #3: Wanted a semi washed out background, so after brightening used Fotor's photo effects...

Chose "Dallas" under "Classic" category

Step #4: Clicked on Frames, then chose Polaroid.

Step #5: Added text and clip art on my polaroid too!

Photo edited like a pro in just 5 easy steps!:) Also tried making a fun montage (a work of art that is made up of several different kinds of things) using Fotor!

Step #1: Choose a background...

Step #2: Choose several photos for the montage...
you can rotate, resize, edit, delete photos to make your montage perfect.

TADA!!! I love the finish product! Mejo artsy. I like. Haha.

Short but sweet tutorial no? Create blog worthy images in just a few clicks! Super fun and super easy to use. So much you can do to your photos with Fotor's wide selection of effects. No need to use other apps or photo editing tools anymore. Except maybe for hardcore editing. But as a blogger who don't have much time to spare, this is just perfect for me. Hihi. Try it! :)

Good Photographs Are Always Worth a Smile

Life is a collection of photographs. For every single person, this collection is individual and it has different sizes. At one point, we all scroll through our photos and it takes us back to certain places, bring backs certain emotions, makes us reminisce and smile. There are thousands or maybe more New York Photographers who make tons of amazing pictures especially of the city view. There are millions of people who travel and takes pictures of places, museums and many other things.

Photography is an art we all enjoy. Pretty girls love to pose, passionate photographers love to take pictures. The process is different every time and it is more than just fixing the camera and pushing a button. Creating a photograph is not simple as it seems. Aside from the lentils, lights and angles, it is more about the emotions you get to capture, which are not static or easy to catch. It's about that photo of a certain place, that when you look at it, it's as if you were there. Photography transforms life in digital symbols, which can be reviewed over and over again, any time.

Photography is witnessing life. It might be a friend's wedding, your daughter's birthday party, a celebrity you bumped into, a senate meeting over national issues or a president meeting other world leaders. That is how it all works. Photography is an art, we all enjoy, it is a process of creating beautiful images of what we love and what we care about and what we do.

The Instax Mini 90 Neo Classic is Finally Here!

Best in late talaga ako sa post and sa event itseeeeelf. Yeees. Me already. But! Better late than never ever!:) Went to the Instax Mini 90 launch at Cerchio Resto Tomas Morato last month. I didn't make it to the program but I was still able to join in the fun! Picture picture galore. I was able to grab photos from the clingys though. So here it is! Guys, meet my future jowa. Haha.

Presenting... The new Instax Mini 90 Neo Classic!

Fell in love with it in an instant. You all know how much I love anything classic, retro or vintage. So this one's really a winner! Love the classic black & silver color and the boxy design, reminds me of the vintage cameras I use during my vintage themed prenuptial shoots! :) It has amazing features that you might switch from digicam to instax na. Angela of Lush Angel rounded it up for you and me!

  • High performance flash- helps optimize the exposure
  • Party mode- enables the background as well as the subject to be captured brightly
  • Kids mode- helpful to capture fast moving subjects like children and animals
  • Landscape mode- best suited to target a distant subject
  • Brightness control-add a low-key or high-key effect by controlling the brightness of photos
  • Macro mode- lets you enjoy stunning close-up photography
  • Bulb exposure mode- In bulb exposure mode, the shutter remains open (up to 10 seconds) while the shutter button is depressed, enabling photo capture that shows attractive night views and light streaks. You can take expressive photos, with more fun added to instax photography.
  • Double exposure mode- By selecting the double exposure mode and pressing the shutter button twice, you can superimpose two different images in one frame to create an artistic photo. Show your creativity with a unique photo.
  • Mode dial- By rotating the dial, you can switch modes and functions while looking through the viewfinder.
  • Battery- A rechargeable battery is used.
  • Tripod socket- can be attached to a tripod giving it stability, especially important when using the double exposure or bulb mode
  • Self-Timer function - yahooo!

Are you sold na? Coz I am!!! It retails for P8, 980. It's totally worth it!:) There's so much you could do with it so get ready to bring out the artsy in you.
