I love how Havaianas surprise us every year with their amazing #MYOH event themes! Instead of taking everyone to a new destination this year, Havaianas set course for a trip down memory lane and into the totally wicked fun era of the ‘90s! And it might their coolest one to date. :) We attended the press launch at Cable Car (one of the hippest places to hang out in during the 90s) last May 9 and grabe, so much feels! One of the events I look forward to every year is MYOH or Make Your Own Havaianas. I get giddy from excitement whenever I get my invite or whenever I see announcements or posters online. I'm a huge fan of the brand and I always bring a pair with me whenever I travel. It's one of my travel staples. This year, Havaianas paid homage to its origin with a Shibori-inspired theme and it's just perfect timing because Ana, Sarah and I are heading to the land of the rising sun this June! :) Photos and stories from the event below...

So glad I was able to attend this year's press launch of the most awaited event, Make Your Own Havaianas or #MYOH2015! Missed it last year because of work and vowed to go this year whatever happens. Lol. Here are photos from the launch!

Make Your Own Havaianas 2014 VIP Invite Giveaway!

My favorite time & event of the year has come! Havaianas brings Brazil to the Philippines through Make Your Own Havaianas 2014. As the summer season hits full throttle, it’s that special time of the year when Havaianas gives us the creative license to decorate this season’s must-have accessory—flip-flops.

This year’s event is made even bigger and more accessible. At the heart of Makati, Make Your Own Havaianas 2014 will take place in its new home at the Glorietta Activity Center from May 8 (Thursday) to 11 (Sunday), 2014 open from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM on weekdays, and 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM on weekends. There will be no entrance fee so everyone is welcome to customize their own Havaianas and celebrate the streets of Brazil.

Civil Hollywood + Made My Own Havaianas!

I missed the Make Your Own Havaianas press event (had a shoot for BELO),  but Geiser & the Havaianas peeps were kind enough to reschedule me. Yey! It was my first time (virgin ba haha) and it was nothing short of awesome. Came back the next day with my whole family coz I wanted them to experience and join in the fun too! Photos!:)
