Step Into the '90s at #MYOH2017

I love how Havaianas surprise us every year with their amazing #MYOH event themes! Instead of taking everyone to a new destination this year, Havaianas set course for a trip down memory lane and into the totally wicked fun era of the ‘90s! And it might their coolest one to date. :) We attended the press launch at Cable Car (one of the hippest places to hang out in during the 90s) last May 9 and grabe, so much feels! Photos and story below...

#MyBreak: Backstreet Boys Epic Concert

I seldom go to biglaang events, but when Aj Yabut contacted me if I wanted to watch BSB's concert at MOA Arena, I said yes without batting an eye! Haha. Didn't want to feel sorry for myself again if I missed this opportunity pa to see THE greatest & bestest (nagimbento ako word for them deserve nila yan) boyband of all time! Wala ng tatalo. Sorry. So happy I got to see them live on stage with my jowa Nico and best girlfriend Anagon! Too bad, I had to leave early because I had a Skype call (for work which I had to answer at home) so I didn't finish the whole thing. I was able to experience pa din naman the forever epic, BSB magic. One of the most amazing nights of my life! Pinagisipan ko talaga if I'll bring my treasured BSB cassette tape. O cge na bukingan na talaga ng age leche haha. Then I thought, wag na d ko din naman mapapasign haha. I remember how I would watch MTV for hours just to catch their videos with matching kilig on the side. And how I would try to imitate their dance moves (kaya puro gasgas silya namin sa bahay) and how I loved daydreaming na jowa ko si Nick Carter or Kevin. So much memories! So many good ones. Oh, what I would give just to re-live those moments. Sarap maging 16! HaHA. And then eto na nga! Thank you Kitkat and Aj for giving us the break we deserve! Taray haha. Late Post: MEG's Fete Rouge & FLIQUE Launch

I rarely go to events now, when I do, it usually happens all in one day/night. That's what happened 2 weeks ago when I went events hopping (4 events!) with my blogger loves.:) Here are photos from 2 magazine events we went to, MEG & FLIQUE! Will blog about our Bar Dolci experience some other time (it requires more work haha).

MEG Magazine celebrated their 14th year anniversary at 7th High last June 21, theme was Fete Rouge! Guests were encouraged to come in red. Of course, I came in my all denim all Giordano outfit. Lol. Got too lazy to change. :/ We also left before the program started. :(

Aside from it's 14th year celebration, this event also launched Meg's newest project, I Am Meg: Own the World in Style, the search for the next style ambassador! It's gonna be a reality TV show hosted by Bianca Gonzales.

We had to run to Opus next for Flique Magazine's launch party! Sarah and I changed at the back of Paul's car. Crazy. Lol. We were excited for this one coz the theme was 90's, kaya pinaghandaan! Haha. Here are photos from the successful launch where we went wild over our favorite 90's music. Haha.

Forgot to take a photo of what I'm wearing but my peg is... myself. Lol. While some people took inspiration from Clueless and Mean Girls, I decided to stick to my style nalang. Haha. I wore a plaid distressed sweatshirt with "Welcome to the 90s" written in front, a neon green bodycon skirt and neon green wedges, plus of course my light wash denim jacket! Couldn't get any more 90's than that:) Anyway, congratulations FLIQUE! Can't wait for the next issue!:)
