Ultimate Peace Shirt

Finally! I already have something to blog about. Lol. Which means, I'm back in Marikina. Which means, I've reunited with our dull gray wall again. Dear Wall, oh how I missed you. I've been in hiatus because whenever I stay in our apartment in Cubao, I always find myself just staring at the 4 corners of our flat. There's not enough light, not enough walls. Good news is--we finally found the perfect apartment! :) No, it's not yet ours (not yet) and we had to submit a lot of requirements to be considered and for them to be able to do background checks (yes they're cautious like that). But the owner is my aunt's close friend SO I'm pretty sure we stand a bigger chance than the others. Still, I refuse to be too complacent.

Anyway, I had a joke joke-an (in english: joke, joke) photoshoot earlier this morning for Archive's new collection. I'm a fast worker so I will already unveil it later at 9 pm. Watch out for it! :) I have maxi skirts, vintage dresses, cute tops and some more skirts. I also found myself using just one particular shirt for most of the photos. Well, it's one of my favorite shirts. So now, may I present to you guys my overused shirt and my many ways of styling it. :)

A P600+ meal from Brother's burger. It's soooo delicious and so expensive. Blech.

Rite of Passage

I've never been this alive and excited in my life. I still can't believe I quit my mundane 9-5 (in my case 3-11am) job 5 months ago to pursue my passions--Archive and styling (and yes, blogging!). And I've never been happier and fulfilled. I know I still have a long way to go but I'd gladly tread the path, if it meant living my dream one day at a time. And if I fail, I'd still be thankful that I still got the chance to try and make it right. :)

ARCHIVE's improving I must say. I'm now over my sabbatical (as kookie puts it) notion. I now nurture it, as if my life depends on it (well  it kinda does haha). I have a lot of bazaars lined up! I'm really glad I took the plunge and joined Port 88. It was such an amazing experience and I learned a lot from it. It also opened a lot of doors and windows (hehe) for me and the store. I now have the perfect drive and determination to follow through. I'll be announcing the schedules when it's near. :)

Anyway, my blazer collection is nearly sold out! Thanks to everyone who supported and bought. I was also contacted by one of my favorite online brands asking me if I'd like to style for them. Of course, I said yes! :) Excited. Will give you details-- soon! Thank you Lord for all the wonderful opportunities. I really hope I don't f**k up.

Fun fact: I chose "I" because my real name is Isabel. I'm not really a fan of girly names but I thought the pendant looks cool. Lol. I just hope it doesn't get trapped by customs this time. The Scarpasa shoes is still with them! I'm too lazy to go to Pasay to claim it. It's too far from where I live.

Archive + Blog Project + Features

With the recent giveaway brewing and with an overwhelming support of different online stores, I was inspired to make my own project. Thought it would be fun to challenge some very stylish and unique ladies and men of the blogging world. So up until August 30 I will be sending selected Filipino bloggers an item from Archive Clothing. The challenge? They should just style it whichever way they like and show it to us all. :)

And it's a no brainer that the first person I chose is Bestie of thecapriciousclub.

I've been following Bestie since forever. I love her sense of fashion and she has this signature style that sets her apart from everyone else. It was also a plus that she loves thrifting as much as I do! I was supposed to send her a sailor top (coz it is sooo her) but unfortunately a mysterious stain appeared (from the blue ribbon, so sad) so I had to change it at the last minute. I sent her this instead:

Sneak Peek: Part Deux

And here are more of my favorite ARCHIVE pieces to be sold at the Port 88 bazaar. They're all so pretty it breaks my heart to let each of them go. 

I seriously want to keep all of them. BUT nooooo. I'll pray to the mighty vintage gods to give me more strength and will power to not give into hoarding temptation. Hahaha. =)

In other news... I won again a chic new item from Chictopia Rewards! This time it's this very pretty brown geimo espadrille from Scarpasa.

I love that it's versatile and I can wear it with everything--shorts, dresses or pants. Can't wait! I just hope it runs true to size.
