Glamour galore last week when I went to 2 stylish events in 1 night, the FURLA Concept Store Opening in Greenbelt 5 and the MEGA Most Stylish event at Republiq. Armed myself with an awesome dress designed and gifted by my favorite Pinay designer Dimple Lim, as well as bonggang accessories by famous designer Eric Manansala! Here are photos from both events starting with what I wore:)
Furla, the Italian premium accessories brand opens its first new concept store at Greenbelt 5 in Makati City, Philippines, the city’s top fashion and luxury shopping destination. The new concept store draws inspiration from the architectural details of the beautifully restored 18th century Villa in Bologna, Italy - headquarter of the brand - where tradition fuses with contemporary design.
Now there are four major stores and corners that have opened in Greenbelt 5 and Rustan’s Makati in Makati City, Shangri-la Plaza Mall in Mandaluyong City and Newport Mall in Pasay City.
An Italian family-owned company founded by the Furlanetto family in 1927, Furla is one of the major players in the worldwide leather goods market. With the heritage of 86 years, the company currently distributes to 71 countries, through 320 single brand boutiques of which 156 owned stores, more than 1200 points of sales in department stores and specialized stores and 5 subsidiaries in the USA, France, Japan, Hong Kong and Korea, as well as online through its own e-boutique.

For the Spring Summer 2013, light is the source of inspiration of Furla’s new collection. Alternations of light and shade, shot in the carvings and piercings of the leather, in the three dimensional printings, in the black and white contrasts.
While meadows, leaves, hills, at the zenith time, inspire a dazzling palette in the infinite shades of green, emerald, olive and lime. Softer nuances, cipria, marble and vanilla, evoke the petals of the flowers in their brightest splendor. And when the light reflects on the sea bright tones and transparent PVC, like in the Candy Bag, they catch its constant movement. At its highest intensity, the light transforms everything and as in an overexposed and hyper-realistic picture, colours become fraught, papaya, turquoise, ocean, juice and lime on a white background for a season full of life and energy.

Decided to finally wear this Dimple Lim piece from her 2012 collection coz outfit requirement for the MEGA event was "young designer". Love this dress especially the front design and cutout shoulders.:) Planning to have this shortened for my next usage. Hehe. The earrings are from my new favorite accs designer Eric Manansala! Google his name and you'd see countless of articles and features on him. Lots of local celebrities also wear his designs. Best part? It's not that expensive! Prices depend on the design and style of jewelries. Just message him to inquire and buy!:)
