How We Spent Mother's Day at Trinoma Mall

Straight from our family outing, my Mom and I headed to Trinoma Mall to spend Mother's Day there. :) We usually spend this special day at home, just a low-key celebration over food and kwentuhans with the whole family. This time, I decided to bring my mom to a special Mother's Day event organized by Ayala Mall and Madhouse! My mom seldom go out, so this is an amazing treat for her to make her feel extra special. Love you, Mom!

Sea of Sale

I still have a few backlogs but I decided to do an OTD first. Heh. Spent my whole Sunday eating and laughing with Mich and of course, shoe shopping!!! I wouldn't miss Chickflick's private sale even if there's a zombie invasion. So I ran from Marikina to San Juan just to check out their items on sale. Here's how it went...

huge sign in front of the condo, i literally ran inside out of excitement. Lol

When I got inside, I immediately saw Sarah looking lost & confused. That's what 5 gorgeous pairs of shoes could do to you! So hard to choose. I helped her narrow it down to 3. Haha.

oh choosing is so hard to so!

love this on sarah!

problematic lang. decision, decisions.

i will dream about this bag. waaah

happy (and guilty) shoppers. Haha

Thank you Mich for not killing me! Sarah and I felt so drained afterwards. Haha! Mich and I headed to Greenhills afterwards to eat dinner. We finally tried out Peri Peri!

mich's salmon (so tasty!)

my 1/4 grilled chicken & spinach sidedish--grabe I ate all my rice + more than half of Mich's!

the winner sauce.

We were supposed to watch a movie, but all cinemas were just screening Breaking Dawn. I wasn't able to contain my disappointment! Did they just assume that everyone is a Twilight fan? Boooooo. We just washed our disappointment away with good dessert + some individual book reading. Mich and I mostly spend our time doing these--eating, drinking tea and reading. :)

forgot what this is called but Mich loved it!

Before going home, we passed by Bizu to buy some macarons...

And now here they are... my new babies!

I guess it's time to review my shoe closet (or racks) again. I should really start letting go (meaning sell) some of my unworn or seldom used pairs. Will post on my blog closet soon!:) Happy Monday everyone! Watch out for my Blogger's United free entrance passes giveaway!:)

80's Mother Sweater

I took advantage of the cold & rainy weather the other night and took my newly thrifted sweater for a spin. Never mind that I was sweating at the end of the night coz of the heavy wool. Lol.

Sweater-thrifted vintage, shorts-St. francis, bag-from SG, boots-thrifted, accessories-random

I fell in love with the details--sequins, gems, colors, prints. I also love that it's oversized! It's actually long and could also serve as a dress.

Anyway, I wanted to get out of the house that day, eat and chill for a few hours, so we decided to go to Eastwood. Ran into the gorgeous Tin of Tinjaman shoes & bags!

love her boots!

I was super hungry (as in monster hungry) so we just decided to eat at Fazolis. Literally FAST food. Hehe. I also love their big servings.

1st meal for the day at 8pm

A few minutes before 9, we practically ran to Eastwood Mall to check if Happy Lemon was still open. I just had to satisfy my green tea craving (I still miss Koi). Ate dessert at Mrs. Fields. I swear their cookies have drugs, so addicting! Heh. I ended up taking home 2 bags of cookies. Yuuum.

heaven:)

tea + cookies + free wifi = WIN.

I then dragged Mich to the Eastwood bazaar and took these home...
my itouch pouch. Hehe.

Heavenly Cheesakes

Here's another one of my post b-day gift for Mich. :) Sobrang cheeeesy!

It's not like any ordinary cheesecake. It's awesome. It has an m&m's effect (melts in your mouth). It's baked to perfection. And super worth it for P50 each. And Kathy, my very pregnant friend/officemate, can attest to that. she finished hers in less than 3 minutes. :P I specially love the Oreo cheesecake. It comes in other flavors such as blueberry, triple chocolate, raspberry and strawberry. Yum!

And you can now order this by contacting Nadia Dujunco of Little Miss Cheesecake. A perfect gift this holiday! Or a dessert to feast on. PM me for her number. :) Thanks Jig!

We ♥ Picole

Our new favorite dessert (we're over Red Mango now). Picole popsicles.

...located at Megamall's basement. I love the strawberry flavor (not coating, not milk). Mich loves the choco-banana one. Price ranges from P30-60. Enjoy!:)
