Travel Guide: Enchanting Siquijor (Things To Do, Where to Stay, Budget) + Bohol Side Trip

I know this is 5 months overdue but in my defense, I really thought I already blogged about our Siquijor trip last October! Waaah! Tried searching it on Google coz was looking for something but nothing came up. So ayun na nga, hindi pa pala. Haha. So finally, here it is! :) Flew to this mystical island with a few family and friends to celebrate Nico's birthday. Since he's a merman (or baka isda talaga) in his past life, he wanted another beach trip (last year we spent it in Bluewater Sumilon naman). We wanted to go somewhere we've never been before or only a few people frequent, so my cousin Rjae suggested SIQUIJOR! So we all booked our flights, researched for weeks and off we went to one of the best beach trips of our lives. Read on for photos and stories...

AirAsia in Bohol x Ubi Festival 2017: Festivities, Isola De Francesco & Food Trip

Here's the second part of my Ubi Festival 2017 adventure in Bohol via AirAsia! On our 2nd day, we had a few hours to ourselves before our scheduled activities. Spent the morning eating and napping. Haha. We met up with the group at around 12:30pm for lunch (where we were served dishes all made with yam!) before heading to our first stop: the TOWNHALL! But first let me explain to you guys why Bohol has this kind of festival and why Ubi/Ube is a huge part of their lives and culture. Read on...

AirAsia in Bohol x Ubi Festival 2017: Visita Iglesia & Amorita Beach Resort

One of my plans this year is to travel more, so when I got an invite to fly to Bohol to cover the Ubi Festival in partnership with AirAsia, Amorita Resort & Bohol Provincial Tourism Council, I just had to say yes! Our trip was short but sweet--literally-- as we devoured meal after meal made of ubi/ube or yam. It was an amazing 3 days of pilgrimage and pigging out!  Here are photos and stories through photos...

PART 2: SUMMER KICKOFF IN BOHOL WITH NIVEA SUN PROTECTS

So during the PR Session, we were all given our group assignments. Luckily, I was in the same group with Tracy! After the trivia game (we lost, but we had a pretty nice score so okay lang hehe) each team was asked to choose between land or water activities through draw lots. Looking back to our Roxy Fitness Camp experience, we assumed that the water challenges were harder than land. We were wrong!!! Our team got land and all of us had an extremely hard time deciding which challenge to do. I was torn between the Pentagon (where I need to do 6 challenges) or the zip bike (just 1 challenge but not for the faint of heart or those who are scared of heights). I was the last to choose (ambagal ko kasi eh! and no one wanted the zip bike) but in the end, I decide to do the Zip Bike! One time big time challenge. It also helped knowing that my gf Ana is doing it too. Yey! Stories through photos starting with my OOTD...

Part 1: Summer Kickoff in Bohol with NIVEA Sun Protects

It's amazing how when I hear the brand NIVEA, it immediately equates to SUMMER & FUN. Maybe it's because of their yearly summer kick-off out of town adventures that I've heard so much of. It has also become one of my summer/trip staples, especially when there's sun exposure involved. So, when Pao of Eon sent me an invite to be part of their 2016 Nivea Sun Protects Summer Kickoff event in Bohol, I said yes in a heartbeat! Double rainbow excitement and fun pa when I found out that all of us "Clingies" are invited and we're staying at my favorite hotel in Bohol, BELLEVUE! First time I was there, it was for work (as a stylist for their campaign shoot). This time, I am going with friends and blogger loves! The Clingies have been meaning to go on an adventure together, so this was the perfect way to start our year and jumpstart our plan! Without further ado, here are photos from our intense and super fun trip starting with what I wore!
