Sunshine in a Bottle

I'm back from the dead! Char. Was just super busy the past few days. Hehe. I'm also starting to reverse my abnormal body clock and so far so good! Been sleeping before 3 am for days now. Woot. I'm also working on my upcoming shoots so I'm mostly doing pullouts plus a few events. Will be styling "rock gods" next week so I'm super excited! Hope I don't get starstruck which often causes me to freeze. Heh. Anyway, more more kwento below, but first here are outfit photos from our Tagaytay trip c/o Fitflop!

Thanks Cheyser & Ana for the photos!

Romwe yellow dress, Vintage belt, Unica Hija bangle, Kandi Treats bracelet, Celine ballet flats

Here's another way of styling this versatile dress! I decided to wear my new Fitflop Due ballet shoes with it! Also wore a denim vest coz it's chilly inside the coaster...

Romwe dress, Forever 21 vest, Cotton On bag, Accessorize polka shades, Fitflop Due ballet shoes

Tea party vs 80s girly grunge. Which look do you like best?:)

Okay, on to my kwentos! I'm super looking forward to my Cambodia trip this November! Will be discovering the country for 5 days. Tracy suggested me to bring extra outfits to shoot. Pwede! Very very picturesque dun! Haha. Traveling on a budget as usual, can't wait to share them with you. This trip is the reason why I had to decline Nuffnang's invitation to be a speaker at their 1st blog congress!!! When I got the email I thought it was just a simple invite to attend, but when I read it (and it was quite sweet) my jaw dropped.

I feel so honored-- I'm supposed to speak after THE Maria Ressa! Haha. In a way, I felt relieved I won't be here coz the thought of speaking in front of 300 bloggers (from all niches) for 1.5 hours slightly terrifies me. Haha. But I'm pretty sure I'll do it given the chance again. I hope I'm more worthy then. Hehe.

Anyway, it's Friday! Time to catch up with friends and family and get ready for the weekend. I'm spending mine with blog friends later (Dani's bday celebration). How will you spend yours? Love you all!:)

Dipped in Dots

Just a quick outfit post before I sleep. Have to wake up early coz Papa Paul is picking Sarah and I up for our meeting with Rayban! Woot. Will share with you our project soon:) Will also post more kwentos tonight, that is if I still have energy. Will be spending the rest of my afternoon in Paco Park, styling Mich's officemate for her prenup.:) Anyway, here are outfit photos! Taken during our epic Tagaytay weekend at Sonyas Garden c/o Fitflop! Will blog about that soon.

Primadonna pink top, Thrifted polka cardigan, Nita Clothing shorts

Unica Hija black bangle, Therapy bags white bracelet, Kandi Treats chain bracelet

So Fab glitter loafers

I won't even try to explain how I put this outfit together. I'm too sabaw na. Haha. It might look hideous or maybe over the top (?) to some of you but I like it and it's me!:) You all know how I obsess over anything polka. Heh. Thank you Cheyser for lending me your camera! And Ana for patiently taking my photos!

Bloopers! Wahehe

Have an awesome weekend! And always remember, you are all amazing. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise. :)

Pop of Olives

My last post today! I'm typing very quick coz I have to sleep in a few minutes, after I finish this new episode of How I Met Your Mother. Heeh. Here's an outfit shot from last month, the day before Star Awards:) It was a Saturday and I spent the day doing pullouts:) I often work during the weekends but I'm not complaining! It's actually fun most of the time;)

Cebu Stylista top, Thrifted pants, SM bag, Forever 21 shoes

Le Papillon necklace, Kandi Treats leather bracelets

Threw this outfit on in a hurry (lagi nameeeen) but I love how it turned out! Built my outfit around my new vintagey top from Cebu Stylista. It was actually quite comfy coz of the light fabric even if it was hot like hell that particular day. And that goes for my trousers as well. I think I achieved the look I was going for that day which was laidback business casual. Pauso ko na naman yun. Haha. Had to look presentable coz I was meeting with some designers (I pulled out from) and a buyer/reader (Hi Shannen!), and at the same time I had to wear something I can run around the Metro in. Achieve!:)

That's it for now. More more posts later. Will be in St. Paul Manila later with mah loves Ana to judge a fashion event. If you're from there, see you!:)

Bitch Fit

This is my laid back Sunday outfit. Wore this when I visited my Grandparents... and when I threw a major tantrum before leaving the house.  3 days later my back and arms still hurts from throwing 1 million things. It started over a disagreement between Mich and I, which, when I think of it now, was not really a big deal. Haha. Nag dramarama sa hapon lang ako. Haha. I'm the most patient person ever. I seldom get mad or pissed, but when I do, it's like all hell broke loose. Casualties that day: Melody the teddy bear which I dismembered (accidentally then intentionally), and our table lamp which I accidentally--not intentionally-- knocked off & severed. And then there were maybe 5 broken CDs. Heh. If I end up in trial or jail in the future, please don't use this post against me. Haha! I think in some way I needed that. It's like all my frustrations and anger and disappointments exited my body together with my tears. Sometimes, you need to unleash all the monster energy hiding inside too, you know? But do it without hurting anyone! A teddy not 4 feet tall would be fine though. Lol. Mich, up to this day, still screams "Murderereeeer!" whenever she remember or sees teddy bears. Haha.

Kashieca x JC Buendia shirt, Bratinela floral shorts

Vintage belt, Kandi Treats bracelet, Fab Manila bag, Payless sneakers

Therapy Bags 3-way wrap bracelet used as headband

First off, sorry for the weird facial expressions. I was in a rush coz it's actually drizzling when I took the photos! Twenty seconds later, it rained like crazy! Anyway, back to my outfit. Been abusing my Payless neon green sneakers for weeks now. It was one of those meant-to-be impulse buys. It was a steal for P600! I think this is sold out already though.  Bought it when I tried to do pullouts in my neon green wedges and I miserably failed. Guys, wear something you can run in when doing pullouts, especially if you have time constraints. 'Kay?  I won't even try to explain how I put together this outfit (other bloggers are better at it), my goal is to share with you guys the pieces I'm wearing. This lovely highwaist floral shorts from Bratinela fits like a glove. Weird, but you get my point.
And guys, when buying accessories, it's best if you have that 1 versatile piece you can wear in several ways. Take for example, this orange chain headband I'm wearing! Which is actually a wraparound bracelet, which could also double as a necklace--or belt! Db? Bongga.

Ombre

Nope, not my hair! But Thread Manila sent me a cute pair of ombre shorts which I couldn't resist wearing 5 minutes after it fell into my overly eager hands. Lol. Anyway, posting an outfit I wore a week ago. Quick post muna coz I need to sleep as in now na! 9am calltime tomorrow. Gaaah.

Thrifted top, Thread Manila ombre shorts, Bazaar belt, Kandi Treats bracelet, Fab Manila bucket bag, H&M flats

Also asked Mich to suck it up and pose, all because of this shirt I got from a Bench event.:)
Bench polo shirt, Get Sole sneakers

That's all. Shooting the whole day tomorrow! Lord, give me strength and coffee. :) Hope you're all having an awesome and productive week! Next week, Ana, Mich and I will head to Sorsogon for a mini vacay + charity trip. I've never been to Sorsogon, so if you have suggested places to visit, food to taste, activities to try, hit me up!:) Oh, and if you have books to donate please let me know. My email is at my right sidebar:) Thanks and laters.:)
