BBM + F21 launch party

Warning: This post is photo heavy. :P

So, last weekend I was at The Collective the whole day for the Brown Bag Market bazaar. It was super super hot that day and I consistently felt like an ice cream melting away. I was restless and agitated, BUT friends made my ordeal a whole lot easier. :) Buyers were scarce (coz there were a gazillion bazaars  also happening around the area) but it didn't stop us from having fun. :) I also shopped more than I earned. Epic fail. Hah.

So here's how it went in photos...

with a reader (thanks for buying!) :)

Alex's DIY shirt. I love!

Chika chika (in english: talking like there's no tomorrow, hah)

Class picture! Bea of skysenshi, Ana of fashion commuter, Alex of reluctant stylista, moi, Melai of style&soul, Denise of simones closet

with the owner of Sunday's Best :)

with Ava and Vern!

We then attended the Awearness: Eco Fashion and Beauty Forum...

...which started with Vern giving a demo and talk about make-up! Seen here with muse Ava:) In Athan's word: "BRAVO!!!"

Love this bag from Green Minded Missy! It's handmade with love. :)

Alex trying on Mary Kay's oil mattifier! Works like magic! :)

Melai and Ana gave it a try as well. Just apply it on an oily face...

....and, voila! Instant freshness. Aylavet.

We were then treated to a free merienda from Pasta Box (sorry no photo) and was given these freebies from Envirosack and Bare Minerals.

Love this bag from envirosack! I love that it can hold a lot of things.

At around 8, I changed and got ready for the Forever 21 party. Kookie (with Nicole) was nice enough to pick me up. They also did their own shopping before we left!

I was so reluctant to go to the party coz I haven't slept, I was so tired, and I was feeling icky from sweating all day. But, it was for a job so I had no choice. This dress from Melai was a lifesaver. I actually brought a black long sleeves velvet bodycon dress (which I should have worn to blend in! Also, according to Nicole the whole pink thing is so not me, I agree! hehe) but it was--as I said--scorching hot. I'm almost sure that I wouldn't last 5 minutes in it, I'd die of heatstroke. Lol. This pink dress from Melai's store, fashionstopshop, is so light and breezy. I had to laugh at myself for totally diverting from my usual style. I looked like an ambushed Paris Hilton. Eek.

Anyway, upon arrival at Member's Only, we were then greeted by the rest of the FFT. Such a fabulous bunch. :) Here's some photos from the event. Some photos were grabbed from Lissa (one of the 5 brand ambassadors of F21 Philippines), Kookie, Nicole and Karl.

The zombie me made it through the day. Yey! But not the zombie-on-a-shopping-ban me.

The damages:

Human Nature shampoo & conditioner (which smells amazing btw!) and their magic oil! I'm using it on my undereye circles and it does make mine more manageable.

Cute dress from F-stop.

...and another one.

That's it! To all the bloggers and other equally fabulous people who I met that day--it was so nice to meet you! Til next! =)

Over-Haul

Sometimes, I wish I could just hole up in the apartment forever, chained to the bed, so I wouldn't be able to go out and burn my hard earned cash.  Everytime I go out, I spend/shop. I find joy in buying even the tiniest thing. Here's what happened...

Earlier this evening, I went to Albert Mutuc salon for a haircut. After a few minutes, I decided to pamper myself more by having my nails done. Well, I deserve it. I know I do. Har. My hairstylist was kind enough to set (curl) my hair--for free! He just felt like it. Haha. I looked like I was going to an event after, when I'm only going to the mall to look at stuff. Wish I could take home Kuya hairstylist so someone would give me picture perfect curls everyday.Anyway, I love the color of my nails! It makes my skin appear whiter. Color is Pink Nude.

I've also been looking all over for the perfect liquid eyeliner. My eyelids are excessively oily and regardless of the brand (expensive or not), at the end of the night I still end up looking like a panda--smudged liner and all. Today, I finally got lucky! Went inside a PC store today to check out their make-up counter. Checked their liquid liner and did a quick brush swipe on my hand. I went out without any intention of buying. While walking I tried to remove the liner on my hand by rubbing it off, instead it peeled off perfectly.I hurriedly went back and purchased one + a mascara. Brand is Beauty Treats.

And lookie!

I finally have my Ramon Valera shirtdress! Too pretty. :)

This is the most expensive shirt, dress, top or piece of clothing I've ever bought. This retails for P1800. It really broke my bank! BUT, it's a collector's item so I think it's still worth it.

I also went to SM to buy a studded cuff bracelet. Then I saw a cute boater hat and charmed Mich to buy it for me. Hah. She also bought me a new dress watch! Yeeeey! I broke 2 of my watches. One when I was sleeping (I know. Weird.). I'm so happppy.

SM hat, Anagon ring, SM bracelet

I haven't slept yet and it's already 7 am!!! 2 hours to go before the Brown Bag Market. Zombie mode at it's finest.

See you guys!

P.S. Don't forget to join my Stubborn Eve giveaway!

16.11.10

I died and went to heaven's kitchen.

Last Friday, I had dinner with my sister at Mom & Tina's. She asked me to taste test their food and survey the place coz that's where she's gonna get married this coming December. My sister doesn't want a big wedding. She and her boyfie hates attention that they asked me not to prepare a program or make any surprises or speech. I'm still persuading her to at least prepare an AVR just to entertain guests while they're eating. She's totally weird. Anyway, major food porn coming up next. Makes me want to run to Mom & Tina's right now.

Lovin' the interiors... it feels so much like Christmas. :)

Can you see me peeping? heee.

ralph lauren shirt, fab pants, custom made shoes, Golddot bag

When the food came, I totally got disoriented that I only remembered to take photos when I was about to finish my food.

I ordered this steak (called chuck steak) and WOW--it's one of the best I've ever tasted (at least for a commoner like me, lol). It was cooked to perfection. The juice, moisture and taste was just right. It's a little pricey though for P400. But still worth it. My sister ordered callos...

.And Mich ordered this...

... it used to be a baked ham sandwich with chips and cucumber slices. All gone in a blink of an eye.

The food was soooo delish. Yes, it's a little pricey but it doesn't hurt to treat yourselves to a great meal every once in a while. I was so determined to finish my food quickly coz I was excited to finally taste their famous desserts! And boy, it was not an easy task--choosing which ones to taste or buy. I wanted everything.

 Which ones to buy?

Caramel Profitale (not sure of the name though but it's heavenly)

Dark Toblerone something. Tastes heavenly as well!

Brought these cupcakes to the openshoot at BNS the next day. They went crazy over it!:)

my bidang golddot bag. lovely.

That's it pancit! This entry makes me hungry. Grrrr. Craving for those cupcakes. Killer.

P.S.

Ana, Melai, and I would be really happy to see you guys there.
Let's take photos and make chika! See you!:)
