Nautical Dungaree

Hello dooooor! I'm back to blogging...way past midnight. Haha. It's actually 4am now. I need to doze off in a bit coz I feel like I have tons to do later. I really don't have anything planned except for returns (pullouts), but I have a feeling I will be rushing a few things too.  Plus, it's Friday and you know what that means! It'll be traffic as hell. My life now revolves around pullouts, rush pullouts, shoots, errands, tambay with friends, events and sleeping. I need a vacatiooooon. Going away this weekend with Nico boy for some R&R! Rest and relaxation ha hinde Rated-R! Hahahaha. Friday also means ASAP requirements, so need to complete that before our weekend adventure. Looking forward to Sunday! Anyway, here are some outfit photos we took from Friday last week in  between pullouts. Hehe.

I wanted to wear something casual, relaxed, slouchy but still dressy. So, tada! This top from Giordano is one of my favorite pieces in my closet! Also found the perfect jumper shorts from Greenlane shop. Love the wash and the fit! I'm choosy when it comes to jumpers (or rompers) 'coz I have a long torso and it usually doesn't fit sa crotch area! As in. Kain kung kain. Hahaha. This one's loose but not too baggy. I love iiiit. My white gladiator shoes from Tutum solves my "lacking in statement" outfit dilemmas. Always. I'm planning to buy another pair bilang nilaspag ko na. Lol. 

Wasn't able to take a photo of me pulling out from BCBG and Herve Leger, but here's a photo of Karylle wearing BCBG on Showtime and Ms. ZsaZsa Padilla wearing a P90k+ Herve dress on ASAP. So beautiful.

NIVEA In-Shower Skin Conditioner Launch at The Spa

I am one of those girls who are too lazy to do health/beauty regimens. I am a huge fan of facial wipes 'coz I'm always too tired to wash my face. I seldom apply facial cream, drink vitamins, drink water, do my brows or my nails. But I shall try to turn this sorcery around (haha) bilang I'm getting older! Feeling young kasi forever. Lol. That's why I'm sooooo happy that Nivea's new innovative product is finally here in Manila! No need to lotion (or feel guilty when I forget to apply lotion) anymore! No more icky sticky feeling too! You can just wash your body with it and then go. Saves time db. Just what girls like me need. Starting this post with my OOTD that day.

 While waiting for our turn to get pampered, some Nivea models went around to distribute and have us try their new lip balms (love the watermelon one!) and Invisible anti-perspirant:)

The room was filled with different variants of the new In-Shower Skin Conditioner (they have fo dull, dry and normal skin) and other Nivea products.;) Favorite ko na the exfoliating wipes!

Wasn't able to take photos of our whole session but we were treated to an hour of relaxing and rejuvenating body scrub and body wrap using The Spa and Nivea products. My skin felt so soft and smooth after, I love it!:) Thanks Perkcomm, Nivea and The Spa for the treat! 

I'm now using the variant for normal skin and I'm liking it so far. My skin feels soft and well moisturized after. Will try the other 2 naman and will update you of the results! Go try this too... I'm sure you'd all love it:) It's important to take good care of our skin so go na! I should remind myself that noh? Haha. Toodles!:)

Monsters & Men

Aside from the fact that I've been listening to my favorite band Monsters & Men on repeat, this post is all about food (I'm a food monster, get it? hehe) and an OOTD! Random, I know. I miss. Haha. I know I've not been blogging much lately, feeling burnt-out AGAIN, but I shall try to consistently update you with what's going on in my life. As if gusto nio malaman! Gusto nio! Pleaseeee. Wahaha. I'm quite busy with work these past months (thank God) and also busy with my lovelife. Wahaha! Lakas maka HS. I've also been spending so much time with family and childhood friends. I do miss the Clingies though! :( Here are photos from 2 weekends ago:)

In love with this white top from DETAILS! So versatile that I could style it in so many ways. It's also a little dressy so even if I was just wearing shorts, my outfit didn't look too pambahay:) Wore my new statement flats from TUTUM which I bought for P900. So worth it! Laspag na agad sakin huhu. I've also been looking for a nice pair of denim shorts for the longest time.. hit jackpot when I dropped by Primadonna to pullout for Karylle. Couldn't help but buy it in 2 shades lol. Panic buying. 

Back to my post....we ate at Kogi Bulgogi, Eastwood first before dropping by the newly opened Uniqlo store. We needed the energy to shop haha.

Dropped by UNIQLO and was able to buy a pair of pants and a shirt for Nico that are on special sale prices. Score! Also accomplished something I've been meaning to do since forever... buy a new laptop! Special thanks to my sister, my Dad's credit card and BPI's electronic madness sale. Yeeey. It's 0% interest and you start paying lang after 3 months. It's super affordable too for just P2k+ a month! Bought this baby from a shop in SM Marikina's Cyberzone. Meet my new lappy! Baduy ng lappy pero cge na pagbigyan. HP Pavilion I3, Windows 8 (such a freakin bitch) for more or less P28k. Di na masama! 

What made me buy it: Lightweight, sleek design, touch screen (such a bitch ka pa din Windows 8), videocard, thin when closed and mapagpanggap na MAC when you close it. Lol!

I'm still keeping my deadbeat, old laptop though. We've been through a lot (relasyooon) so I don't think I can give it up that easily. Plus, my old files are there! So.... This is me reasoning out. Lol.

Curious cats kasi kami ni Nico so we decided to discover the newly opened UP Towncenter after ASAP. Actually, we just wanted to silip Cotton On. Haha! We were so hungry and the restos there were not familiar so we tried IHOP. Finally! My first time. Haha. It's a little pricey but the serving's huge! We ordered this, forgot what it's called, but it's sooooo gooood. 

 Our bill was P700 ata for all this. Keri na din busog naman.

Speaking of food, I got sick the other day so Nico took a leave off work (he got sick too). He drove me to ABS and then cooked for me after. He makes a mean Tom Yum pala! Now ko lang nadiscover. I remember asking him pa when he arrived from the grocery: 

Pax: What's this? Ano tong damo damo na to?
Nico: Lemongrass kasi yan.
Pax: Eeeeh.. damo. Damo!

Didn't know he was gonna make Tom Yum (which is my ultimate favorite). Lakas maka Erwann lang! Che!

Now I'm hungry again.
