Food + Shiny New Things

I went to Greenhills the other day to pick up the bags I'll be using for our weekend bazaar. I also went around while trying hard to suppress the temptation of buying things I fancy--and there's a lot! I did go home with something though. My brand new yellow wedge! I love it.

Pardon my ugly feet. Hehe.

I also went around looking for boater hats. Found some stores that sell hats and some boaters but they only came in brown and they're big on my head (oh why head???). Sad.

But of course, food tramped my sadness especially when I found out there's Omakase (a Japanese resto) in Greenhills! We always fail to eat at Omakase Eastwood , there's always a long line outside. So here are some of the photos I took. I tried to take some outfit shots but I was too tired (with barely 3 hours of sleep) to actually pose hence the not so decent photos. Lol.

Omakase waiting area (I love their waiting area!). Their waiting area in Eastwood sucks.

Wearing: newly thrifted white shirt, Zara shorts, Millies flats, Longchamp bag, Accessorize accessories

And then we were told our table upstairs is ready! So up we went.

No the waiter is not mad. Nagpapaliwanag lang (just explaining). Mich has this habit of testing waiters if they know their menu by heart. She asks them questions like what's their bestsellers, difference between whatevers, blah blah. And Kuya here passed the challenge. Har.

I tried to sleep while waiting for the food. I was so groggy.

But I can't sleep so I decided to show off  and take photos of my earrings.
Thanks Kat of Chickflick!

Accessorize Lucky necklace worn as bracelet.

Finally, our food! Warning: highly mouthwatering.

Jurassic Maki

Kani and Potato salad

Ebi Fry.

Me trying an outfit shot again..

Yes arte. lol.

The thing I hate about Greenhills is the scarcity of cabs. We had to wait in line for an hour, got pissed, left, and within 5 minutes of walking in another area we finally saw an empty one! We should have left the line earlier. Ugh. As soon as we're inside, I passed out of exhaustion and I was in lala dreamland.

Totally unrelated, but I wanna show you some of my new things...

Bracelet - gift from Lee of Candypopshop, Shoe Clip - from Xreations

Decided to try the shoe clips on my Cotton On flats...

 Before. Plain and boring.

After. So charming!

And for my Day 2 post for the 30 day challenge...

Legend of my blogger name. This actually confused me a little. Does that mean I have to share the history of my name? or my blog's name? ANYWAY.

Okay my blog title DROWNING EQUILIBRIUMS came from--um, my past. A stage in my life when I was soooo emo over a lot of things. It means drowning balance literally. Figuratively, it meant--I dunno anymore I was in HS when I first came up with this. A point in my life when I was so poetic and dramatic. Now, I'm just plain happy. Heee! So there. My blogger name Aisa.Pax.Paking.Paxie are all my nicknames! :)

In other news, if you're bored and got nothing to do (which is highly unlikely but I'll take my chance anyway) please do check out my sister (whom I bear no resemblance with) at Stylebible!:) She was featured under the Bridal make-up article (click on the link!). Gela Laurel and Mia Carballo of The House of Laurel did a great job and they even made her wear a Rajo dress just for fun! Too bad I wasn't able to come with her that day, so there were no behind the scene photos. But here's how her transformation came.

Before

And with the fairy godsisters' magic...Tada!

Byutiful. And I kept teasing her re: fake smile. Haha.

Anyway, I went on a thrifting excursion today to buy stocks for the bazaar and I found a lot of AMAZING pieces! Will let you take peek see very soon!:) Also won the Tsumori Chisato dress I've been religiously eyein on in Ebay!

Now, virtual hugs to everyone!

I heart TSUMORI CHISATO

FACT: I'm not really fond of wearing designer whatevers. I would NEVER spend thousands for designer clothes or bags. I was never brand conscious. I just buy whatever complements me.

But then I found this designer: TSUMORI CHISATO. I first discovered this Japanese designers work of art on Ebay. There was this really really gorgeous dress up for bid. I lost. Twice. Haha! Well it's because I don't have the luxury of time to sit in front of the PC to consistently track my bid. In conclusion I got addicted! I fell inlove with the line... I love her designs, her prints and the colors of her clothes! Everything's so graphic, and dynamic, and vibrant, and super eccentric. Totally ferosh.

Sublimely girly, Chisato's collection is known for its rich, color-drenched prints, with hints of her Japanese avant-garde background.

Here's a glimpse of her collection. *swoons*
