How I’m Using Maya to Fund my Concert Goals

I'm entering midlife, and I'm at a stage where my focus and ultimate goals have narrowed down to a few things. Whenever people, or even online clients during interviews, ask me about my goals for the coming years, my answers have become steadfast and simple: to continue working remotely on a flexible schedule (whether it's a data entry job or something else, as long as it meets my asking rate) so I can travel the world, focus more on self-care, and spend more time with my family and friends. Honestly, my goal is just to earn money without being too stressed so I can do things that bring me joy and give my life meaning-- like watching my favorite artists perform live on stage!

I know I have already plastered my face all over Facebook a few days ago, but for documentation purposes (hihi) I want to share with you guys the final layouts from my Madhouse Manila modern vintage themed shoot last month!:) For the record, I had no idea I was gonna be the cover. Such a sweet surprise!  I had so much fun working with an awesome team:)

Actually, to the whole team who've been nothing but supportive.:) Thank you for the patience and the amazing experience. I will never forget this. Minsan lang ako umarte ng todo eh haha. Gray & White Walls

I'm back from our spontaneous Baguio trip, thanks again PLDT for such an amazing experience!:) Aside from meeting PLDT peeps, witnessing the grand Panagbenga Festival and eating to death, I also got to bond with my blogger loves Ana, Ava & Tracy! :) I can't blog about it yet since I lost my card reader (arrgh) and I have to wait for later to buy a new one, so I'm leaving you with a random outfit post. :)Two actually! Hehe. Styled the skirt in 2 ways.:)

Sweeter Than Candy

So I'm still under house arrest..and I'm so freaking bored!!! Still can't go out because of my swollen left cheek due to an impacted teeth (not 1 but 2!) removal surgery last Sunday. But it's almost healed now! The swelling had remarkably subsided. I can't wait to go back to eating chicken and seafood and patis! Heh. There were a few good things that came out of this though! One, I'm finally done making our HK/Macau itinerary for our trip next week. Two, booked and arranged an out of town trip with my family (excited!). Three, I was able to rest extensively before all the chaos in my blogging/professional life resumes.  And the best among the rest? Our apartment is still squeaky clean and mess free after 5 days (had it cleaned last Sunday) coz i haven't opened my closet yet! Haha. Been living in pajamas for days. Aylavet.

Singapore Chronicles: Day 4 & 5

So I'm back with another Singapore post! Yeeey. I'm currently staying at Chinatown and I'm sooo loving it. If I move here (which I'm already considering, yeeep) I want a place in this area. It's near everything and hundreds of food choices. AYLAVET. I can just go down anytime to buy food, have my nails done, have a haircut, buy cellphone load, etc etc. So here's me without any makeup on--haven't even brushed my teeth yet. Lol. Met up with Mich over lunch.

Since Mich only had an hour for lunch, we just decided to eat at the hawker center (aka foodcourt) below the apartment. The food stalls are a little confusing, there are photos of the food but all I can see was orange and red. Haha. Setlled for this stall and bought a nice rice meal of spicy squid + egg (i've overdosed of chicken).

 Koi Cafe (Mich buys tea here like 3-4x a day!)

Koi Cafe makes THE BEST tea evuuuur! Sorry but I think this beats Happy Lemon and Serenitea:) If I only have money, I'd franchise and bring it to Pinas!

I then spent the rest of my day discovering the city (or malls haha) alone. I even went to Esplanade theater. :)

I went to Citylink Mall, Marina Square and Suntec City. I'm so proud of myself for not overbuying! And well, it's because I still find the goods here expensive hehe. I met up with Mich afterwards to have dinner with friends. Our good friend Glysa (from our previous job) took us to Long Beach resto where the best Chili Crab is served. :)

The next day, I met up with my girl bestfriend--Cecille! She has been my friend from my St. Scho to UST days. We've been friends for almost 20 years:) I love her to death. I think sometimes she know me better than Mich does. We've been through a lot and I'm just glad I have her in my life forever! You'll see more of her soon--mga next year:)

So in conclusion, all I ever do here is EAT. Hahahaha. And the truth is, one of the main reasons why I really wanna move here is because of all the food. I think I'm destined to be here, the only place where I can actually succeed in gaining weight and fats. Haha. Let's see. Soon. Maybe:)
