Can you Escape LIMBO?

NO, this has nothing to do with the recently passed and now implemented Cybercrime Law. Let's get to that later. For now, let's go for some real scare... It's high school fair all over again!!! I'm a fan of horror booths or horror houses when I was a kid. We even recreated it at home by turning our room into a spooky asylum like place complete with sounds. I remember using Pink Floyd's song "Several Species of Small Furry Animals Gathered Together in a Cave and Grooving" (from my dad's archive) as our background music and it scared the shit out of everyone! Including me. Haha. Here's the video of the song. Creepy (and trippy) noh???



My sister and I used thick blankets and black cloths to cover our window and totally block out the sun, and then we trashed our room into disarray by bringing in our dining chairs as  obstacles. It was WILD. We'd invite our schoolbus-mates and friends to our house to enter their "doom" and they actually liked it that it lasted for weeks! We only stopped when one of our neighbors ended up with a bleeding mouth and a broken tooth. Ouch and sorry. Anyway, long story short, I cannot wait for a similar event on Octobor 26!

Halloween Weekend

So we were supposed to dress up as Pink or Punk in the office. I opted for Punk--told them my being pink is super overrated. Hehe. Our company's Halloween party was Friday. So Mich and I went to Galleria the day before to buy some props. Went to YRYS and bought neckties for our punk ensemble. I was lucky enough to find a black tie with pink skulls printed on them. Super cute! Mich bought 2 ties (buy 1 take 1!) and a leather cuff. I had a huge crush on their patent calf length flat boots. Perfect for HK and it's on super sale! From P2500 it's now P900. But I can't wear it here so I had to let it go. :c But that didn't stop me from trying it on. I love it. It's a little hard walking in them though. Maybe because I was never a boots person. Until now I still dream of that pair of dreamy boots. Hate it. Argh.

So anyway, here we are during our Halloween party at the office. And our lil miss skully! (we had a dress-up your skully contest). We dressed it up for only 30 mins. At least may entry! Haha.

i can finally wear my tie.

Even though we didn't win we still enjoyed making our paspasang skully. Come Sunday, we went to another costume party at 6th ave. :) I wanted to portray a sexy leprechaun (bought a Gold hat at YRYS) but I got excited when I saw my HS cheering outfits and got more excited when I found out it still fits! :) I had to wear shorts underneath coz it's super short. Bought some props also to make my improvised pom-poms and headband. I miss my cheering days in St. Scho!

Before going to 6th while we were looking for props, I also took advantage of the ongoing sale in Gateway. Bought myself 2 pairs of wedge shoes, same design but in different colors. And it's just for a thousand bucks. Good deal na din for 2 pairs db. And the shoes are adorable! Segueway: Eto shoe debut ko. From my chictopia account. It looks prettier when worn with a dress though. :P


Backtrack: Before Gateway while I was putting on some clothes at home I asked my sister if I could borrow her bf's digicam. And she said no. I got frustrated since I wanted to take pictures while we party later on. Soooo-- I bought a new cam! And no wala akong pera cinredit card ko lng. Haha. It's just a Nikon camera but I liked it more than the thin Olympus one coz it uses rechargeable batteries and not the lithium ones. I could just bring spare batteries and not worry about charging. Since camwhores po tau. Heehee. :D At least now I could take pictures of my Ebay merchandise na sa wakas! History: We lost our cameras bcoz of Ondoy. I'm gonna save up for the Olympus waterproof camera next.

Post Halloween: I heart Go-Go!

At first I was reluctant to particiapte in our office Halloween party. Since the theme this year is Cosplay/Anime I thought, what the hell this floor's gonna look like it has been invaded with Japanese school girls. When I think of Anime I only think of Sailormoon-ish costume, who would dare wear Piccolo? or Majinbu? Right?! Hahaha! Anne also keeps on sending me pictures of anime characters we could imitate, mostly of school girl types. So 4 days before our party as I tried browsing online for any potential costume to wear (expecting there was none), I found one that I felt suits me. Haha, well..it's still school girl-ish, but a bad ass one!!! Perfect. Coz the last thing I wanted to do was play pacharming and patweetums in a "wala lang" so ordinary school girl outfit. At least this has angas factor noh! And you can set me apart from others coz this character has attitude, like me! Haha! Angal?

So anyway I decided to portray GoGo Yubari of Killbill. Fierce!!! Anyway, her outfits easy to find. I wouldn't have to buy a P5K customized costume (right Hans? haha!). I texted my girlfriends to borrow a blazer (Aiza lent me her mom's blazer and it fits perfectly! I love it.). A day before the party I still don't have a skirt and I had to think hard on how to improvise her signature weapon. So I ran to megamall. I bought a white knee socks, 3 meters of red ribbon, a silver christmas ball (gosh haha) and dog chain. I wasn't able to find a skirt so I texted my girlfriends to make them bring any skirts they have haha (thanks anne for the cute skirt:P).

So here's me... as my favorite villainess. Haha. Hope I gave the character justice. :P I might have substituted her white nike rubbershoes (baduy lng for my standards haha and not sexy) over a pair of black pumps but still most people guessed it right! Haha.. yeah yeah, it must be the bangs. :P


* Aiza is Lucky Star (not Sailormoon okay! haha). And Anne's a charcter from Final Fantasy (still can't remember her name! Lena?Lea?Lei?Lae? haha).
