Dulcis Vita

I'm aliiiiive! I'm still on a birthday high. This week's a week of celebration, went to 3 birthday parties! Mine included. Haha. Kamustahin naman natin ang liver ko noh? Lol. So I turned another year older. 21!!! OMG. Can't believe it. Don't basag my trip okay? Hahaha. If you read my blog, you know that I often celebrate my birthday by hibernating. This year, I wanted to hide somewhere and just go on an out of town trip with Nico, but my plan changed a week before! I'd save my epic birthday party post for later, still have to collect photos. For now, here's an outfit post taken today!!! :)

Photos by Nico Arguelles. Thanks, love!

Zara top, Plains & Prints "Audrey Hepburn" skirt, Romwe bracelet, hat & heels

Baggu canvas backpack
(watch out for my Baggu giveaway to be posted very soon!!!)

 Onecklace.com customized "Dream" necklace

Finally got my hands on Plains & Prints' highly coveted Audrey Hepburn collection! I also wanted to get the top but no size na, so sad. Huhu. The Zara top I got on sale for just P900 I think. Love the crochet detail!!! Love my new inspirational necklace from Onecklace.com! Can't get enough of these! :) I call this outfit, the vintage boho preppy witch style. Bet? Haha.

That's it for now! I want to say a heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who remembered my special day. I read all your messages and each and every one touched me talaga. Thank you. I am so lucky to still be here! Thank you so much, Lord. More years pa ha?:) I still have a pretty full bucket list. Hihi. I have always dreaded birthdays because each year takes me one step farther away from my fun childhood. But I realized, growing old might not be so bad after all, with all the wonderful people I get to spend it with. I can't bring back the past, but I can make the most out of what I have now. I am exactly where I am supposed to be and I'm super happy. :) Sabi nga ng blog title ko, "Dulcis Vita" or Sweet Life. Okay so much feels na. Stopping now. Lol. But, thank you and I love you all!!!:) Can't say it enough. :)

Gotta go! To all the heroes out there--- Happy National Heroes Day!!! Continue shining and inspiring. :) Hope you all have a great holiday! Can't wait for this hectic, madugong (literally and figuratively haha eeew) week to be over (have 2 shoots plus styling Karylle for Showtime). Then, hello September! BER month na naman! Haha. Catch up with you guys laterzzzz. xo

Sweet 60's: Plains & Prints Pre-Fall 2014 Collection Launch!

I seldom go to events now, and just like other bloggers, I usually just choose the best ones and those that are super worth my time and effort. So, when Plains & Prints invited me to their Pre-Fall collections launch at Shangrila Mall last June 19, I immediately said yes! I've always loved the brand's unique styles and prints. It's also very me. The vintage loving me had to contain myself when I saw their new collection, Audrey Hepburn / 60s inspired!!! You all know how much I love that fashion era. Obvious naman sa old posts ko. Haha. The collection was still very much within the aesthetics of Plains & Prints, designed by Rhett Eala, modeled by the beautiful Anne Curtis-Smith, styled by Liz Uy, photographed by THE Mark Nicdao. Now, that's what you call "Perfect Partnership". Here are photos from the launch plus a sneak peek of their new collection coming out this week in all of their stores!:)

Thanks to my gf Ana for the photos!
Jhajing dress, Suiteblanco bag, Romwe sandals

Forgot the theme was tea party, but good thing I wore this dress which I bought from Jhajing! Suits the theme perfectly:) I also used this top to a prenup shoot where I paired it with a yellow skirt. You can use this as a mini dress or top. I've resorted to effortless dressing na coz I'm always in a hurry. I also don't have much clothes anymore since I put almost 75% of my closet on sale. Haha. I want to invest on new pieces na. I realized I have so many clothes which I haven't touched for a year! So ayun. Ipon muna then closet sale ulit. Haha.

More photos from the launch!

Plains & Prints celebrity endorser Anne Curtis Smith was there to talk about her style, the new collection and her love for the brand! Can I just say, I love her dress and her shoes!!!:)

And now I present to you, Plains & Prints Pre-Fall 2014 Collection!

It's divided into 4 categories: Fleur De Lis (romantic & feminine with lots of radiant orchid pink as well as shades of fuchsia, purple and peach), California Dreamin' (shift & waist dresses + dainty pants), Uptown Girl (inspired by our favorite style icon, Audrey Hepburn), Flights Of Fancy (classic wardrobe staples with fun and modern twists).

the store also carries Happy Skin!

Droolin'? Haha. Grabe, I wanted to take home everything ha! So pretty all the clothes. I couldn't help myself from thinking of ways on how to mix and match each piece. What's your favorite? I want to get my hands on the Audrey Hepburn special pieces! :)

Visit Plains and Prints starting June 26, 2014 to shop for their Pre-Fall collection!

House of Eva dress, Riots blazer, Parisian glitter oxfords

Been waiting forever for the perfect event to wear this dress again (after I wore it at Meister's Christmas party), but I can't wait na so I decided to just wear it out on a random day instead. Love it, so pretty!!! My dress and blazers are statement pieces na so I decided to just wear a simple watch a belt. Okay fine, I'm just too lazy sometimes to accessorize. Lols.

Also had a nice, fancy, intimate dinner at CAV, The Fort last month with the Wrangler team together with my other co- Wrepresentatives (yes may W talaga sha). Had fun chatting with everyone! Some photos below!

Wrangler girls! Charlene, me, Katee, Kookie, Nicole and Lissa:)

Love the food! As in supeeer.

enlarge Menu above for the names of the dishes coz I forgot hehe.

Planned to leave early but I ended up staying for 2 more hours. Haha. You know how much I love intimate events, and this is not even an event. Haha. It was just a simple dinner for the Wrangler ambassadors, to get to know us better (and I'm sure they did, we all did!). Also had fun catching up with my blogger loves. So many kwela stories!  Can't wait for the next one!:) Thanks and love you Wrangler fam!

Gotta go, Catch up with you later!:))
