This Is Our City, I Am Team Manila.

Working on my Day 2 Singapore post, but I'm not yet done sorting and editing photos. So for now, outfit photos from that day!:) When you're in another country, do you also have this urge to reprezent (yes, z talaga para mas feel) your hometown? I do. And I sometimes do it through the clothes I wear! There are a lot of Pinoys working in Singapore and I love how they light up and smile and chat with me of course, whenever they find out I'm also Pinoy. It's surprising coz I'm often mistaken as Viet or Thai. Weird. Photos!

Team Manila shirt, Greenhills shorts, Mango cap

Romwe bag, Stylized Manila brown leather bracelet, Envy yellow wrap bracelet, Meister watch

SM Depstore sneakers

I wanted to wear a dress but I realized it might not be the best idea when you are to ride a roller coaster. So I went for the ever reliable shirt-shorts-sneakers combo:) Easy breezy covergirl lang. Haha. And the cap! It's best to bring a cap when you're going somewhere hot. So you can hide your sweaty bumbunan and still look fresh. Haha. And share ko lang that I bought my pink sneakers for just P250. Oha! Haha.

The shirt from Team Manila is from their men's collection. Got it in Large so I could also wear it as a mini dress. I want my shirts loose. I have a few more Team Manila pieces to post so abangan. You guys should check out their stores, lots of cool stuff talaga. Plus, they just launched their Andres Bonifacio designs!:)

That's it for now! Gotta sleep. Early pa tomorrow for ASAP. Hope you're all having an amazing weekend:)

Tony & Jackey's Korean City Style Collection by L'oreal Professionnel

Was browsing through folders in my laptop when I saw photos from our hair transformation session weeks ago by Tony & Jackey, Makati c/o Loreal. Best in late post! Sareeeeh. Anyway, here it is finally! The best hair collaboration so far, Loreal Professionnel x Tony & Jackey's Korean City Style Collection! Read on why it's the best so far AAAAAND my big epic fail. Lol. Photos!

The different Korean hair styles we were asked to try: Hong Dae, Gangnam and Busan!

Busan Style – An artsy, romantic, and Bohemian vibe Bubble Perm look inspired by the cultural and artistic city of Busan,.

Gangnam Style- a glamour chic see-through glam perm look that can easily blend into the trendy parts of the city that is inspired by the richest district in Seoul.

Hong Dae Style – a youthful and cute pop perm look inspired by the trendy and funky vibe of Hong Dae. Each trendy style is reflective of the district that has its own distinctive style, from clothes to hair to attitude that would best suit any type of Filipina and her personality.

The place was packed with bloggers when I got there. But they assigned someone agad to assist me and take care of my hair needs!:)

They shampooed my hair and then the owner and senior hairstylist assessed it. In the end they decided not to perm it coz of the extensive damage from all the hair coloring and perming it endured in the past. Break it to me gently pa drama nila. Love it. Nahiya ako. Haha! But I appreciate their honesty talaga. I love that they want to make sure one's hair is healthy and ready before they touch it. Good job!:) They were kind enough to give me advice and asked me to come back after 3 months after treatments. Can't wait to try their perming service soon! Saw amazing results from fellow bloggers nainggit ako!:)

 So they just offered treatment...

And then they offered to cut it to get rid of split ends:)

They also styled it! Love! Styling was similar to my original hair style choice, Gangnam:)

me with my favorite girls, Ava and Tracy, who both looked amazing! Ava chose Busan, Tracy chose Gangnam:)

After our bonggang hair transformation, the pampering didn't end there! We were escorted to the makeup station c/o MAYBELLINE!

 All made up:)

we love our hairs! and our makeup of course. :)

us with Tony & Jackey VP Mr. Sky!:)

Treats were alse served. Yummy cupcakes by Baker Street!

Thanks again Loreal and Tony & Jackey!:)

Of course, after perming you have to maintain your tresses. Use these products from L'oreal Professionnel to achieve amazing hair everyday!:)

PABLO Messenger Bag

Bestseller that measures 15" x 10.5" x 3".Features an interior compartment for laptops, push lock closure and full suede lining.

What I love most about School of Satchel is how they support the Philippine local industry by using Filipino leather and manufacturing. Plus, they are so charitable!:) SOS PLEDGES, The School of Satchel’s community service program, is a proud partner of the Cartwheel Foundation, Inc. (www.cartwheelfoundation.org) in successfully sponsoring Nylyn Supnet, 20, to Pamulaan Center for Indigenous Peoples’ Education in Mintal, Davao City. The school is dedicated to the education of indigenous people (IP) in the Philippines.

According to Nylyn, “Being poor is not a valid reason for not attaining your goals in life”. Nylyn’s tribe, the Higaonon from Malaybalay, nominated her for the Young IP Leaders Program and Nylyn is now on her graduating year at the school. The main thrust of the program is to groom future community leaders and equip tribe adults with knowledge and skills to face challenges of the modern world and participate in community building.

The Cartwheel Foundation is a non-profit organization that seeks to give indigenous communities a future through quality and culturally relevant education. It sees a nation where indigenous`s Filipino people can exercise their right to have quality education and active participation in community life.

Now on its third year, SOS Pledges is funded by proceeds of the The School of Satchel’s sales.

Birthday Suit

Can't believe I just turned 30. The big 3-0. Also can't believe it's only now that I'm experiencing what most of you dread, yup, quarter life crisis. So many things I wanna do, so many things I want to run away from. If you're my Facebook friend you might have seen my status about the numerous careers I want to try. Flight attendant, Cotton On sales girl in Singapore, DJ (David Guetta levels), immigration officer, field reporter, Red Cross volunteer, travel agent, and the list goes on and on. Ang lala. Haha. At least there's one thing I'm sure of, I want to travel more. I'm also moving to a new apartment! A fresh start, a new place, new inspirations. Praying for guidance. I'm still sticking to styling though. It's still my first love. When you step off the 20s plate you reassess and re-evaluate tons of things, you spread your wings of independence to the fullest. Then you can only hope things turn out for the best, hoping you'd end up where you've always wanted to be. *fingers crossed* Moving on! My birthday weekend was a blast. So much love and celebrations and surprises. So much alcohol too. Lol. Anyway, here's what I wore last Saturday.:) Photos by my cousins Therese and Patrick!:)

From SG top, Cruella & Co skirt, Mango belt

Mango ID bracelet, Casio watch, Cotton On peace bracelet set

 Fancy Feet Valentino inspired heels

I think mas bongga my outfit if I wore more accs noh? Would love to have any of these fabulous blue diamond rings from My Jewelry Box. On my next birthday pls? Haha. Anyway, I'm mostly wearing pieces I bought from Singapore. Shempre bargain finds! The top I bought from Bugis for $10 (P330), the Cotton On bracelet set is on sale for $5 (P160), the Casio gold watch (beem looking for a replacement for my Aldo watch and this is perfect!) I also bought from Bugis for $45 (P1500). Not bad huh! Also bought the belt on sale from Mango for P900:) So if you're going to Singapore don't forget to go to Bugis! Treasure trove and shopping haven for bargain seekers like me:) Gooo.

Some snaps from this week!
Spent my birthday in Medical City na ginawa ng hotel ni fatherhood. Quota ka na Dad! No more celebrations in the hospital pls.

“Dear God," she prayed, "let me be something every minute of every hour of my life. Let me be gay; let me be sad. Let me be cold; let me be warm. Let me be hungry...have too much to eat. Let me be ragged or well dressed. Let me be sincere - be deceitful. Let me be truthful; let me be a liar. Let me be honorable and let me sin. Only let me be something every blessed minute. And when I sleep, let me dream all the time so that not one little piece of living is ever lost.”
