Late Post: Sunday Treats!

Last week, Sunday the day after the Brown Bag Market, I decided to make it up to Mich. But before that, as usual, I had to go to a styling commitment first. I think this is gonna be used for a photographer's exhibit soon--so watch out for it! :) Here's a sneak peek of what transpired in Calibre studio that day... My peg was all about colors--which is obvious no?

The shoot just lasted for 2 hours (yey!), so we headed to Nuat Thai, Libis afterwards for a much needed and much deserved massage! :)

After we were given slippers, I was then asked to choose the oil I wanted to use for the massage session. I chose Lavender! Then in we went...

Mich chose the traditional thai massage, which involves stretching (which I'm not a fan of.) I, on the other hand, chose their swedish massage with hot rock balls or something. It's more expensive but I loved it! And here's how I looked like after the whole thing. I swear I wanted to go straight to sleep after! Sorry for the uber messy everything. Lol.

Verdict: For P850 total, it's worth it. The place is fairly new, so the service and everything is still amazing. I hope it stays the same after 2-5 years! Mich loved the massage. I also loved it, but it was still a little painful for me. As I've said before, I am very sensitive when it comes to massages because I'm all bones. Thunderbird Resort still holds the best massage crown for me. :)

We then headed to Gateway, Araneta after to catch Harry Potter's last full show. We ate at Figaro first then headed to the cinema after.

I always hate my post spa look. Haha. 

Harry Potter rocks! I heard a lot of negative reviews but it looks a-okay to me. The story is a little long and a little dragging, but there are a lot of defining moments and the effects--mindblowing. Can't wait for our next date day! It's always always fun. :)

Palawan Day 2: What I Wore

At this point, my eyes are already half closed. So tired. I'ma doze off in a few minutes. Before I do, I just want to share with you guys my day 2 outfit. Wiull post the rest of the photos tomorrow (i hope haha).

Palawan Adventure: Day 1

Finally, a vacation! After all the drama--scammer travel agent, saying goodbye to P12k, birthday frustration--we've finally reached this heaven of a place. We're finally in Palawan! Yey. I'm a first timer, so I'm really quite excited. What did I do on my 1st day here? See in photos...

We were picked up by 2 of Mercedes' (our chosen hotel) staff holding a placard with my name. Funny seeing my name on a placard. Lol.

 Ate dinner at Kinabuchs which is just an P8 ride away.

I asked for their wifi password and the girl gave me "bananacaramelfraf" Thought the "f" at the end was just a password trick. But after 5 minutes I still can't connect. Damn.

Push and Pull

I wanted to blog about the past weekend but I still have to work on the photos, so I opted to blog about what happened to me today instead. Today, I was all over the Metro. I have a conceptual shoot tomorrow (my peg: Lanvin x H&M!) so I had to run everywhere to pull-out clothes and other stuff I need. Thank you Dimple Lim for the fabulous clothes. I hope I give them justice. Thank you Trunkshow, Sinta shoes and Golddot for the shoes. Thank you Fabrichild for the bonggang headpieces! And for sending dresses too! Thank you Claire, a friend of mine who make accessories, for letting me borrow some of your works of art. :)


Anyway, I also shopped at Landmark to buy some last minute props. And can I just say, I love Landmark! They have everything (same with SM) but at a much cheaper price!:) Will definitely go back to shop for myself.

Oh, if anyone out there knows a good hair and make-up artist let me know! Our HMUA cancelled at the last minute. So sad. Wish me luck tomorrow. Hope I nail it and hope I find a hair and make-up person before 3pm. Buzzer beater--stressful!
