Skirtin & Trippin

This is just another one of my random posts. So bear with me! Lol. Anyway, I had a Cubao Expo date with Mich earlier. Before meeting up with her, I decided to make a quick detour to a nearby thrift shop. I didn't buy a lot (not too much nice items) but I did score some amazing pieces which I'll be selling on Archive very very soon! Here are just some of them...

polka overload
cute sequined cardigan

I also managed to score something for me! Haha. Typical.

inlove with this highwaist shorts! sorry guys I'm keeping it:)

So anyway, as I said we went to Cubao Expo.I went inside a lot of vintage shops that sell  things like records, books, photos, accessories, housewares. Mich said my eyes lit up as soon as we got inside the stores. Heeee.

I was drawn to a vintage gold purse with gold chain and exquisite engraving on it's body. It's gorgeous. I held and admired it for about 5 minutes before I decided to just put it down & walk away. I wanted to take a photo but the store forbids picture taking. Boohoo. I was too shy to ask for the price--I'm sure it's worth a lot. Maybe I'll ask next time.

I visited the store Stoic and went through their racks of oh-so-pretty clothes. I was not planning to buy anything but they were on sale, so how could I resist? =D Bought this oversized shirt for P400! I can imagine wearing it with just about any shoes. :)

Also shopping in Stoic is Ms. Rina of SM whom I met at the SM Fashion Forum event. She might be reading this so--Hi Mam! :)

After Expo, we had dinner at Pancake House in Alimall. Yez-- Alimall is the place to be. It's just a minute away from our apartment. Aylavet. It has always been our go to mall eversince I'm a toddler! I love that they're revamping the whole place. It now has big brands such as Payless, Celine and a lot of other nice stores. I'm so proud. Aww.

potato salad. Ava, I got inspired!
my ever favorite Arroz ala Cubana
cheese waffle
fish something for Mich

Can I just say, I love Cubao (quezon city)?! Haha. Seriously, I basically grew up here. My grandmother's house is just a few streets away from our apartment. It's near main roads, a lot of establishments, etc. But, Marikina would always be my home though. :)

Earlier in the day, I took outfit shots and experimented with my maxi skirt! Here's what I came up with...

Willow dress used as top, HK jacket, thrifted skirt, Forever 21 shoes

With just a few pins, tucks and tugs-- I came up with different lengths and styles. It looks foolish but I had a lot of fun doing it. Heee. That's it--catch up with you later loves!:)
