Hair Maintenance with LORYS

When it comes to golden tresses, I admit I'm not that blessed. I've always hated my hair (and I think it hates me back). It might look calm at times but believe me there's a LOT going on with it that could never be seen by the naked eye. For serious, it's consistently unruly, frizzy, limp, forever dry. That's why I decided to perm it to "camouflage" it's true chaotic state. Haha. That's why I mostly rely on hair products to help me control it. I've been using Watson's Pure Beauty shampoo and conditioner since I discovered it (after a press launch hehe) and then I use Vitresse and V05 heat conditioning spray to maintain the curls. Well, it works--but only for a few hours. It's my longest relationship with hair products (I always switch coz my hair gets immuned). That's why when the people behind the Brazilian brand Lorys Hair Cream asked me to test their product, I immediately said yes! 

They sent me 3 bottles... Snake Oil, Fruit Cocktail & Shea Butter. I decided to try the Shea Butter one coz it's specific to curly hair (natural or not). It's used as a conditioner/hot oil treatment. Just put a small amount on semi-wet hair and then wash it off (I let it stay for about 3 minutes). I  first tried it out the day I'm going to the Topshop x Preview event. I was reluctant at first coz I seldom try new products before a big event. But I'm really glad I did!!! I swear I didn't feel the usual heaviness or limpness. My hair was super manageable and light as a feather the whole night. I love it. I've used more than half of the entire bottle so I guess that's testimonial enough. Hehe.

Channeling My Inner Brit

Since I don't have any decent outfit posts last night, I decided to relive the moment and took some today. I'm really inlove with my yellow bowtie. Haha. I could imagine wearing this to Paris fashion week or whatever, A girl can dream right?
