You don't know how excited I was when I got an invite to try out the new Japanese resto: YABU. You all know how much Mich and I love food, so even with only 5 hours of sleep, I braved the Megamall crowd just to finally see for myself what all the Yabu craze is all about. First, my outfit!
Back to YABU...
so many people eating!:) Also love their walls and interiors:)
Kuya who served us--world class service!:)
condiments--i'm obsessed with condiments!
Mich crushing her sesame seeds
katsu sauce + sesame seeds. Steps: grind, pour, mix, dip!
Edamame and tofu for appetizers---yuuum! Inubusan ako ni Mich!:/
Of course had to try their famous authentic Katsu! I just ordered the 120g meal (chose the local pork). It's super!
Best I ever tasted. Not nakakasawa I swear. And it was cooked to perfection (crunchy on the outside, super soft on the inside) :)
Prawn tempura meal for Mich

Overall, it was a delightful experience! The food, service and ambiance made our P1,200 bill worth it (not bad na!). I would definitely go back soon. Been dreaming of their Katsu for days now! Thanks again YABU.:)
