Taiwan Solo Trip 2019 Day 5 & 6: Jiufen, Shifen & Yehliu Tour + We Come Hostel + Ningxia Night Market
Since I'm feeling inspired 'coz of my new laptop (sorry na ansaya ko lng talaga haha), here's the 3rd installment of my Taiwan solo trip last March! On the 5th day, went out of the city through an organized tour which I booked via Klook. :) This time I didn't DIY because the places I wanted to see were far from each other, so for convenience I joined a group tour. If Jiufen and Shifen lang, it's easy to just DIY and commute going there (did it before), but for this trip I included Yehliu and Yin Yang Sea. Super worth it! Here are photos and stories...

BAYO Celebrates Modern Filipinas in New Campaign + My Bayo Story
I've known the brand BAYO all my life. I'm sure most of you 90's babies could relate that it's one of those brands that has become my/our closet staple (lalo na mga nagooffice jan), one of those local brands that has become a part of our history. :) For 27 years, I watched the brand evolve and flourish even with all the competitions coming in and that's kind of amazing right?! I am so happy that they continue to withstand these ever changing times, much like the country and the people they represent. This 2019, BAYO celebrates the evolution of Modern Filipinas through a beautiful collection that tells her story. Read on to know more...

This is it! We've finally reached the end of my (our) Lub d journey! It was fun yet bittersweet reliving that super fun week, hopping from one place to another and making memories with the most amazing people. That 1 night I honestly thought I was going to die in a foreign land. Haha! Mejo OA but I almost got rushed to the hospital. First time I got really scared and conscious about my health! More on that below...

Lub d Hostel Adventure: Siem Reap, Cambodia
Since the year started, I already claimed 2018 to be my travel year. So when I got an invite to join the Lub d Hostel media tour in Asia, I was over the moon! It was a once in a lifetime opportunity which l almost said no to because of a styling commitment. So glad the departure date got moved so I was still able to join! Thank you traveling gods! It was the perfect trip for me because one, hostels are life (especially for backpackers or budget travelers like me) and two, I already know Lub d as the crème de la crème of hostels. So two weeks ago, I flew to 2 countries for an experience of a lifetime with a few blogger/vlogger friends and the Lub d Hostel team! We first started our adventure in Siem Reap, Cambodia, spent a few days in Phuket, spent a day in Bangkok before finally reaching our last stop, Lub d Makati. We were only gone for a week but it felt like months. Haha. Had so much fun and made amazing memories with new & old friends. To start, let me take you on a tour as I relive our adventure in Siem Reap, Cambodia. Photos and stories below...

Cebu Getaway 2017: Luxe Island Life in Bluewater Sumilon
Here's Part 2 of Nico's Birthday Celebration in Cebu last October! As I said in my first post, we spent 2 days in Cebu City before heading to our main destination, Bluewater Resort in Sumilon Island. It was Nico's first time in Cebu so I wanted him to experience a few firsts-- legit Cebu lechon, see Magellan's cross and see the oldest church in the Philippines Sto. Nino Basilica. Achieve! I was super excited for our trip to Sumilon, south of Cebu, because it will also be my first time. Here are photos and stories from our stay at one of the best resorts I have ever been to...

Annyeonghaseyo!!! Last month, I finally got to live one of my travel dreams-- visit Korea and experience autumn for the first time!!! There was a lot of praying and decision making that came with it, but I'm so glad everything worked out the way it should in the end. I ended up staying for half a month or 15 days in Seoul, South Korea! It was super unexpected and a spur of the moment decision, but it was one of those things that I felt was really meant to happen. One of the best decisions I have ever made. Read on to know the whole story...

Birthday in Bali 2017: Nusa Penida Tour & Kuta
This is it! My last Birthday in Bali post! There's only so much you can do in Bali for 5 days. And for first-timers, I'd say we were able to make the most out of our short yet super sweet trip. On our last day, we visited the beautiful island of Nusa Penida. I was able to find a cheap half-day tour package which covered some of the best spots in the island. Here are stories and photos from that day...

#IAMDIFFERENT : Penshoppe's Anti-Bullying Campaign
Bullying has become so normal and so rampant nowadays that it has become one of the world's largest societal problem. Countless lives have been lost, millions of hearts broken and lots of families destroyed because of it. It is very easy to say "stand up for yourself" or "just be yourself" but people and situations are never alike. And when it all comes down to it, sometimes all that a person going through it need are other people to draw strength from. Sometimes, they just need someone to take a stand with them and for them. In a world where being different results to being mocked, isolated, and bullied, now is the time to empower today’s youth to celebrate their uniqueness. This is what local retail brand Penshoppe aims to communicate with the launch of their newest campaign #IAmDifferent. More below...

How Clothes Can Make or Break You
Ever since I was young, I've always been drawn to nice clothes and different fashion trends. I remember how I'd always be the overdressed (sometimes odd) one during family gatherings or parties and I loved it! Holidays and special occasions excite me because it's always a chance for me to dress up. Fast forward to now, I am still into clothes and fashion but I now share it with the world through my blog and had turned that passion into a job by becoming a fashion stylist! Of course, this job comes with great responsibility. When you're in the fashion industry, being stylish and presentable is always a requirement and I always make sure I have beautiful clothes on hand for photo shoots. I have been to hundreds of events and styling gigs and I have observed and proven that wearing nice clothes and carrying it well could change other people's attitude and perception of you. More about this below...

How I Styled My Lipault Bags + French Riviera 2017 Collection Launch
I've only been acquainted with French travel/luggage bag brand Lipault recently and so far, I am obsessed with it! I thought it's just another foreign & expensive bag brand, but I was wrong. As a blogger & stylist, it has been my go-to bag & brand for casual or dressier days. They carry a very diverse collection which includes wallets, clutch bags, handbags, shoulder bags, laptop bags, backpacks, luggages and many more! Best part? The colors are super pretty & TDF. Each piece makes any outfit instantly cooler & classier. Here are some of my OOTD photos wearing Lipault, as well as photos from the génial launch which was held at the SM Mega Fashion Hall. Amusez-vous bien!!! :) Read more...
