Postura Day 28: Plaid & Neon

What I wore to a day of strolling and shopping in Singapore. It's not that hot, so I was able to layer without dying. Bought my neon top the day before from the Cotton On outlet store for 10sgd! Love iiit.

Pale-palean ang peg coz I got addicted to Maybelline's lipstick. Lol. Anyway, this outfit is so summery noh? Mash up of colors and prints! Bet. I also love how there are a lot of people walking on the sidewalk at this time but doesn't give a shit if I lie down or pose to death. Niiice. Another reason to move to SG! Haha. But seriously.... yeah. :)

Postura Day 25: Made U Look

I'm having a pretty chill week just doing minor pullouts and finally being able to run some errands. Yipee. Still have to pullout for Karylle though, will be styling her again next week!:) Anyway, I finally went to my dentist appointment last Monday after rescheduling it for the nth time. Had my teeth measured  for a plastic jacket to hopefully fix my returning underbite. She originally wanted me to wear braces, AGAIN, but I said noooooo.  Hehe. Hope 1 jacket fixes it coz it's quite expensive ha. Booo. Thanks Jopek for taking care of my teeth! Hehe.  

Anyway, here's what I wore that day. It was scorching hot so I decided to wear colors that are fresh and cool to the eyes. Colors help me cheer up and saves me from lashing out due to the terrible heat!

Hello March! Oh how time flies noh? The heat is now becoming unbearable as summer approaches. I hate iiiit. I hate sweating, light dressing (goodbye layers, goodbye sweaters), the sun and most especially the increase on our electric bill. Haha. Ode to the 90's

I miss being a kid and all the craziness that came with it. I just realized it last night after spending the night bonding with my family. I actually feel quite sad for the kids of today. Well, the new generation is cool, no questions asked, with new found intelligence, technology advancement and all, but I am thankful and glad I was able to experience the "simple" life as the 80-90s kids know it. Do you agree that life was more fun back then? This post is an ode to the life I miss starting with some outfit shots...

COLORBLOCKING. I'm not sure of it's origin but I'm sure it was big in the 80s-90s. Thank you design & fashion gods for reviving it. So onto my outfit! Wore my newly thrifted yellow sweater and paired it with my new hot pink blazer from Jhajing. I love that it's lightweight and long. Thanks Jaja for this! 

Decided to wear flats (errand day) so I wore my colored H&M flats then topped it off with this cute lego necklace given by Kat Austria (thanks love). Lakas maka statement ng colorblocking noh?

I'll continue this post with things I mostly miss from my childhood. Mich and I got lost in nostalgia and ended up reminiscing and exchanging stories for 2 hours! I know most of you would be able to relate (haha aminin!) so come with me down memory lane. Game!

Aside from Ang TV, we also camped out infront of our TV sets to watch Cedi, Dog of Flounders, Remi, Julio at Julia, Mathinik, Hiraya Manawari, Bananas in Pajamas, Princess Sarah, Tabing Ilog, Shaider, Ultraman, Power Rangers, Ewoks, etc! Aminin mas masaya the teen & children shows and telenovelas before noh? And di lang si Hello Kitty and bida sa Sanrio noon.. We also got obsessed with...

Kerokerokeroppi! We even had a huge pillow (that my sister and I share) before!

I will never forget that my favorite segment in Batibot was "Pa-pa-pa-pa-Palaisipan!". I even have my "Palaisipan" box (containing paper, pencil, crayons, scissors, ballpen, ruler) before that I excitedly take out when I hear the segment's opening song. Haha! Kaloka. That's it for now. Now excuse me as I go watch the cuteness that is Ang TV and Bananas in Pajamas on Youtube. Baboosh! :)
