Calm Before The Storm

How's the first few days of the new year treating you so far? :) I'm having a pretty chill week, attending casual business meetings, meeting up with friends and working on a new Archive collection. I'm still in semi hibernation since I'll be leaving again on the 19th for a 5-day vacay in Hongkong/Macau. Yipeeee! Finally, after 6 months! If you've been reading my blog, you know how I've been stocking up on winter clothes (winter talaga? hahaha). If it turned out hot there I would kill myself. Lol. Anyway, here's what I wore today!

I'm such a lazy dresser. Heh. Threw on the 1st thing I saw lying around our messy apartment--this dress. Love the details! And then threw on the 1st cardigan within reach. Convenient, bagay naman! Hehe. Just glammed it up with a cute neckpiece and bracelets. I do have a confession to make.. I didn't actually wear the boots out. Decided to wear my glittery oxfords from F21 instead.

Ran some personal errands before heading to Megamall to meet up with Melai and Ana. :) Also passed by Toy Kingdom to buy gifts for my niece and cousin. :) I love going to toy stores! I wanted to buy a Barbie mic for myself and a new board game. Hehe. Can't stop smiling when I saw these near the entrance...

Cuteness overload!!! Gaaaaaaah. It's called Sylvanian Families. You can buy each piece separately (or if you have money to dispose, buy them all at one time!) to create villages of cuteness. Can't stop saying cute coz IT IS CUTEEEE. =D

Scallops and Spots

So this is what I wore to the 3rd installment of the My Househusband presscon--this time with Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo! Outfit muna. Heh.

Built my outfit around my new scallop shorts from PINKaholic. Ain't it gorgeous? I love the extra details on the sides!:) Fits perfectly too. This has also got to be one of my comfiest heels ever. I'm all for chunky heels!

Dainty Biker

Got the dress and bag the day before. Wore it agad, spell excited? Lol. Bought the dress from Clothes For The Goddess (tag says Asos, bongga!) and the bag is a gift from Call It Spring (thanks Cathleen!). Photos taken by the uber chica fashionista Kookie Buhain, at the sideline is mah love Vern cheering us on. Haha. More photos soon!:)

Gow buy na! I super love Bea's MOD editorial. Reminds me of the film "That Thing You Do"!:) Also love the section where the Preview editors shared dress codes 101. Super useful. Annnd! It has a bonus Preview Girl supplement (for the teens)! Thanks Preview for sending me a copy. I got engrossed reading the whole mag I forgot to eat dinner. Worth it though. Heh.:)

Pay Less for Shoes

After an all night drinking spree with my cousins and some friends last Saturday, I woke up to a bright & sweet Sunday afternoon. Heh. Had to drag my hangovered ass out of bed to canvass (which I ended up buying) for a new phone. Yey! I don't normally splurge on phones, but my Nokia C3 is killing meeee. Well, it was good while it lasted. Now it has gone ultra slow and it constantly hangs.

Before everything else, I managed to drag Mich to the PAYLESS shoe sale at Jupiter St. Makati. It was a private sale for Citibank holders. Mich wanted to kill herself for showing me Citibank's sale alert message. Haha. There were only 2 words to describe the whole scene that day = heaven & chaos! The first thing I saw upon entering the area was the shoes I've been wanting to buy months ago! I remember I looked for it everywhere but sadly they ran out of sizes. I got so giddy! Haha. Here I am wearing it right after purchasing it. Excited much?

After shoe shopping, we then had lunch at Whistlestop (food was great but the service sucks!)

Mich's tapa meal which was good too. The lychee iced tea was too sweet though! Eek.

We went to the HSBC brands sale at the Megatent next. We were hoping to buy a nice phone for 0% interest. Unfortunately, electronics sold there were expensive so we decided to go to Greenhills instead. Bought a new HTC Desire S phone for P18k--P5k cheaper!

 loving it right now! although i'm having problems connecting to wifi. Help???

Ended the night with a lovely dinner at My Thai Kitchen, Eastwood Mall and some Mochi ice cream overload.
