Boaters & Loots

Today, I did some serious furniture shopping. Yes. My being a shopaholic has now leveled up. I try to avoid the women's section in malls now, so I often wander at the Home section. And today I ended up buying a new closet, 2 shoe cabinets and a bed frame! WTH? Haha! Don't get me wrong, I really really need the closet. My apartment is in a disarray because of my clothes and shoes that are scattered all over. So I'm hoping my new buys will help put everything in order. I can now actually live in the apartment! I mostly spend my time in my family's house in Marikina because I have nowhere to put my clothes and shoes in the apartment. So I'm kinda excited. :) Will document the arrival of my new buys tomorrow. Hehe.

I also did a little shopping at SM Department Store. I love SM. I love that their items are all trendy and lovely. Bought some things I needed for my styling stint this Sunday and a new gig on Friday! AND AND AND they now have boater hats! Okay girls now is the time to run to the nearest SM and buy. Here are my loots:

I almost shrieked from utmost joy when I saw this organizer. Mich got kinda excited too. For the 1st time, she persuaded me to buy something. I guess to lessen the load she has to carry whenever she accompanies me in photoshoots. Now I can put all the accessories I need for styling stints in this life saving piece! It has a built in hanger (that you can hide) AND you can roll it so it only takes up a small space in your luggage or bag. I love it! This is really useful for me since I carry 1 bag for accessories alone with like 5 bags inside (separated belts, socks, head accs, necklaces and earrings) during shoots. For P500 it's totally worth it.

Cute bib necklaces (white and pink).

Cute weaved belts for P250 each.  (which I totally need for Sunday's shoot)

After shopping, Mich and I went to TOSH (the old spaghetti house for dinner). I forgot to bring my camera to take some pictures of our scrumptious meal. But here's what we ate:

Four Cheese Pizza (I just died and went to pizza heaven!)

My ultimate favorite--sundried pesto with grilled chicken!

Suprisingly, I finished everything! And I seldom finish my food. It's that good. And here are photos of me wearing my new boater hat! Fits perfectly too. I can't do outfit shots in the apartment 'coz I mostly wear pambahay when going out. The mall is just a few steps away. Hehe.

Even Mich had to try them on! Lol.

I'm already thinking of using it for our Ilocos tour on October. Yey. And here, let me share with you guys a photo that was once displayed on my previous company's wall. Sorry for the drops of water. It fell on the sink. Lol.

Love to everyone!

Taste Test: EAT & GO

Last Saturday, we left the christening party for a few hours to go to Megamall. Before starting on our shopping quest we first looked for someplace to eat. We ended up at the Atrium. We were not super hungry nor full-- so we decided to give Eat & Go a try.

I forgot the exact names of what we ordered but here they are:

Mich ordered hot tea, I ordered their mixed berries smoothie.

Gambas --- this is very addicting.

Spaghetti with olive oil and Italian sausage.

Ceasar Salad

This is me very happy. :)

But Mich is happier coz I finished all our food!

Anyway, the food is delish! My expectations weren't even high. They serve the food fast and the servers are nice. The flavors are so rich it really tickled our tastebuds. As Mcarthur said--"I shall return!". Sooner than soon! :D

Heavenly Cheesakes

Here's another one of my post b-day gift for Mich. :) Sobrang cheeeesy!

It's not like any ordinary cheesecake. It's awesome. It has an m&m's effect (melts in your mouth). It's baked to perfection. And super worth it for P50 each. And Kathy, my very pregnant friend/officemate, can attest to that. she finished hers in less than 3 minutes. :P I specially love the Oreo cheesecake. It comes in other flavors such as blueberry, triple chocolate, raspberry and strawberry. Yum!

And you can now order this by contacting Nadia Dujunco of Little Miss Cheesecake. A perfect gift this holiday! Or a dessert to feast on. PM me for her number. :) Thanks Jig!

We ♥ Picole

Our new favorite dessert (we're over Red Mango now). Picole popsicles.

...located at Megamall's basement. I love the strawberry flavor (not coating, not milk). Mich loves the choco-banana one. Price ranges from P30-60. Enjoy!:)

Sunday Bloody Sunday

Went to a funeral/burial last Sunday. My cousin's lolo died. Tatay, as how everyone calls him, will be missed by everyone in 6th avenue. Who else would organize our fiesta and New Year celebrations? Now it's time to pass the torch someone else. Uh-uh no, don't look at me. :P

After the burial at Holy Cross in Novaliches (hsuper traffic grrr) we went to Hap Chan for some late lunch. PG effect to the max.

how did JD got sooo big? :c d na sha baby!
achie and achie. hehe

...my new fave Ice Cream. I'm so over Chocolate Truffles now. :P I can eat a gallon of this! It's not too sweet and there are chocolate bits in it. Love..:)

....yeah, the ice cream never made it through the counter. I paid for an empty cup. Haha.

Taste Test: Krung Thai

I've always been fond of Thai foods. Imagine how crazy I became when I went to Thailand for a vacation (although I did miss my regular dose of fastfood--thank you Burger King!). And so one Sunday I dragged Mich to the nearest Thai resto! I went home so bloated I wanted to vomit. Haha.

hanggang dito may pic ng King!

We satisfied our cravings with these:

no no not this.. Haha... oh well we satisfied our kaboringan by taking pics. :P

THIS! Chicken Satay (it's chicken curry on a stick!) - P120

Bagoong Rice (the mangoes came separately) - around P180

Tom Yum Gung (their famous soup--I looove) filled with seafood and spice! - P200+

...during one of my eating breaks (I had to take breaks so I could eat some more) I noticed a Pizzeria just across the street (at the next kanto). It turned out to be the Italian resto we've been looking for--Bellini's! No need for us to go to Marikina shoe expo in Cubao. Yey.

Before eating we passed by the outlet store of Jag and Lee (called Pantaloons--cute eh?).
Lee and Jag outlet store

Too bad they're out of stock on most items. After eating we went to 2 thrift shops (read: Ukay, haha) to do some more shopping for my Ebay store. We went home with lots of dresses to sell and for us to keep, mostly me. Hahaha.

Hmm, the perfect way to spend my Sunday--eating and shopping. Hah.

Taste Test: RED KIMONO

I was not able to post my 1st RK experience--so here's my 2nd and it's better than the last:) Aisde from Japanese foods, they also serve American cuisine. We'd try that next time.:)

bored kakaantay ng food.

...too bad I forgot the name of the food we ordered (haha). But as always I still am inlove with their kani salad. YUM.

TASTE TEST: World Chicken

...passed! It's super cheap and it tastes yum-o. We ate at Megamall (Mega A; foodcourt) and here's what we paid more or less P350 for.

Chicken with gravy and mashed potato. Mich loved it!

Chicken with ranch dressing and baked potato. This is a fun food!

Me super hapy. Obvious ba. Haha.

... hungry yet?:)

One day I wanted to eat vanilla ice cream and a milo icepop. So we went to ministop to satisfy my cravings...

Taste Test: Red Mango

So yesterday we went to Mega to buy freebies, labeling and packaging shits for my online store. Afterwards, we went to Breadtalk to buy these:

(Mich: nag foo2d tasting ka lang eh! Ako naman uubos nian!)

...I don't know what they're called but we had a great time walking around picking up breads to buy.

So, beside Breadtalk is Red Mango. It's an all dessert store--yogurt, waffles, smoothies. We ordered a medium sized original yogurt ice cream with kiwi and mango (P145). You can also choose their green tea frozen yogurt. Or a combination of both. But we opted for the original. Anyway, it is very addicting. Yogurt heaven.:)

... ain't your mouth drooling yet?

Taste Test: Cafe Titas/Ten Titas

Today I accompanied Mich to DOST-Bicutan (layo ha in fairness) to get her final clearance so she could leave the country. Well she needs it for our Thailand trip 3 weeks from now (Yey!). I nearly died out of heatstroke. We went to Gateway afterwards.

Since we're already hungry and we could eat each other (wholesome ha!) any moment we decided to try Cafe Titas/Ten Titas. They serve Filipino foods and I guarantee you they're deliciousa.
