Styling Stint: Status Mag + PhilStar + 2BU

It's been a while since I've shared with you my styling stints and published works. I've evolved and now has gone too lazy to take behind the scene photos + my laptop crashed 2x (wala tuloy mablog lol). Anyway, here are some of the shoots I did these past months!

Skechers PR for The Philippine Star

This was supposed to be a Valentines article but was moved:) Thanks to Unarosa, Forever 21, Primadonna, Folded & Hung, Sebago for the clothes and shoes!:)

Skechers Editorial on STATUS Mag based on Skechers Travel In Style winning entries! One of them is Catch!:)

I know I could have done better but I was just given 1 day to prep so I was still quite disappointed. BUT, I'm hearing a lot of good feedbacks naman so I guess I did okay?:)

Can't wait to share with you the shoots I did for Manila Bulletin and Celebrity Living Magazine! Such an honor to be able to work with extremely creative and talented people. To my "clients": Thanks for trusting me (even if I often doubt myself, self critique eeeh) and for believing in me. After a long hiatus (last year), I've come to the conclusion that I could never give up styling. It's still a hobby for me but it's a huge part of who I am na. So with that, I'm praying for more shoots this year! Thank you Lord for everything. :) Happy Friday!:)

Solstice in Fuji

As some of you know, my other spare Dell laptop died AGAIN. Mich officially crowned me the DELL destroyer! It's hardrive suddenly stopped working, out of nowhere. OMG WTF FML. Lahat na ng acronyms gow. Kaloka na ha. I lost some important files and photos again!!! I have 4 sets of unposted outfit shots, our Hongkong pics, our Carlos Celdran Intramuros tour (this broke my heart the most!) and many more. Hay. But I can't bring it back, can I? Got over my misery after 10 minutes of whining. Now I'm using my original laptop (had no choice but to have it repaired, no more spare laptops na!) and I wish and pray (sprayan pa ng pixie dust) that it lives kahit for 1 year lang pls. Lol.

Anyway, here's a quick post! Lost all my BTS photos for this so I'm sharing the final photos instead. This was shot last week lang! Thanks to my Manila Bulletin fam for publishing this agad:)

Styling Stint: Back Home with Claire Unabia

I've seen Claire (America's Next Top Model contender season 10) on PFW's runway last season and I always wondered how I'm ever gonna style or work with her. An opportunity presented itself through my good friend/co-stylist Jear when we were looking for a model to book for our Manila Bulletin shoot. Jear has this talent of making impossible things happen, so I wasn't really shocked when he told me he was able to book Claire AND Danica (Ford Supermodel) for our shoot. Calcarrie's even flew them in early from New York just   for our shoot (before they get busy for Fashion Week). WOW! We were both super excited and anxious but more on pressured (haha) coz we only had 3 days to pull out and build a team. And we did it!:)

Starting my post with what I wore (as usual, for teen vogue ya know hehe)... Thanks Ilsa for the photos!
Oxygen x Marcela Gutierrez shirt, Penshoppe jacket, Bench jeans, Chickflick wedges

Mauve gray bracelet, Envy leather bracelet, Bedazzle bangle, Bubbles connector ring

My shoes almost killed my feet, but this is an otherwise comfy outfit for a 5-hour shoot. Heh. I love how the Penshoppe military jacket goes perfectly well with my new Marcela tee! Thanks Penshoppe and Oxygen:)

Anyway, here are the published photos! Theme was Casual Glam. Jear and I divided the layouts in half (4 each) coz we wanted to style them both. I love our team!:) Do you know that Claire is actually half Pinay? Coolio.
