Starting this post by greeting all the wonderful moms out there a belated Happy Mother's Day!!! Wasn't able to blog yesterday coz I was out the whole day. We just had a simple get together over lunch at my grandmother's house. Also gifted my mom with this cute slippers from Zalora (which she chose btw hehe). How about you? How did you celebrate mother's day?:) Anyway, here's what I wore...

Wore my zebra print dress from Anti-Fashion Manila with my favorite double breasted white blazer from The Ramp. I love how the blazer toned down the sexiness of the dress. Added a pop of color with my red purse from Shoppe Unli and finished off the look with my new wedges from So Fab! It's one of their new arrivals and it goes well with everything. Can't wait to come up with more looks wearing this. It's quite comfy too:)

I just wanna end this post by saying I love you Mom:) We may often disagree and I know I hurt you sometimes, but I know you know how much I love you. Thank you for everything you did and continue to do for me, for us. I pray everyday that God keeps you and our family in perfect peace, granting you better health and protection. I don't know what I'll do without you and dad so stay healthy and strong! Here's a more detailed blog entry I wrote in 2008 about my parents. I just reread it and it made me laugh and cry a little. That's all. Dramarama sa hapon na. Love you all!:)

Welcome 2012!

Welcomed the new year with my family and old friends at my grandparent's house in Cubao. :) I wanna thank my Dad for behaving last Christmas and not letting us celebrate New Year's eve in a hospital again. Lols. Anyway, every year we agree on a color scheme, this time they chose Orange/Tangerine! Fitting since it's the color for 2012. I panicked a little when I realized I didn't have much orangey clothes in my closet. The one and only sweater I bought from a thrift shop didn't dry on time! So I resorted to wearing this metallic/shimmery red dress and kept telling everyone it's orange with conviction!  Whenever they disagree, I just tell them they're color blind. Haha.

Welcome 2012!

The new year brings a lot of uncertainties and fear (end of the world na naman daw!), but I'm welcoming it with a hopeful and grateful heart.:) 2011 has been very good to me (I think my goodluck ring from SM has something to do with it) and I could only wish that this year would treat me better and kinder. So cheers to a new year of fulfilling our dreams, reinventing ourselves, making things right, taking risks, loving & living more. :) I hope you all stick with me this year--til the end. I couldn't thank you guys enough for taking part in the realization of my dreams. But most of all for supporting me and loving me--flaws and all. :) I heart each and every one of you. This imaginary toast is for you..CHEERS!:)

Goodbye Friendster.

Mich texted me yesterday that their country manager is being interviewed by ABS-CBN. Well true enough after that, I read a lot of comments about Friendster. It went on the whole day. It was shown pala on tv haha. Well, the news finally reached the whole nation. Friendster.com will no longer be a social networking site, instead they will rebrand and relaunch as a gaming site. I've known this for quite some time since Mich has been working for them for 2 years now. And hopefully soon, me too! Got interviewed for a nice position and I really want the job so pray for me! Hehe. 

Anyway, most of you may not know this yet but you can now export all of your data (profiles, photos, testimonials) and save them in your computer. I already downloaded mine and it's now safe and sound in my documents folder. Browsing through it, I can't help but feel a little sad. I've been a member of Friendster since 2003 and I really had fun using the site. I'm sure most of you would agree that it had really been a huge part of us--well it's true for me--our own little diary once upon a time. So as a tribute, here are some photos I extracted from my account... Don't laugh! We were all baduy and young once! Hahaha. And take note, most of the photos were taken using camera phones, my webcam and sinaunang digicam! Epic.
