Philippine Fashion Week: Petit Monde S/S 2014

Was able to take a peek see of Petit Monde's PFW collection 2 weeks before the show. Got surprised by the clothes and their new collection, they're all so pretty!!! I also witnessed how hands on and dedicated their owners are. Galing. :) The runway show was styled by my idol Pam Quinones! Meeting her was surreal. We even made tambay outside Petit Monde's office and I got kilig when she introduced me to her team. :) Anyway, here are photos from Petit Monde's first PFW show!:)

"Philippine Fashion Week completes Petit Monde's evolution to redefine the modern, fashionable Filipina. Inspired by the Japanese aesthetic, Petit Monde's 4 new collections are name Mori, Saku, Urahara & Sekai, showcasing a spectrum of colors as well as mew silhouettes for the brand."

MORI ("Rainforest")
chic and pretty Maja Salvador

Mori embodies nature, in leaf prints and palette transitioning from light to dark. Taking its cue from the kimono, the Mori collection showcases different ways of wearing the traditional Japanese  dress, articulated in unstructured and versatile wrap dresses, fake wraps and billowy skirts in soft fabrics.

SAKU ("Bloom")
the blooming and forever gorgeous Sunshine Cruz!

Rhea Camille, niece or daughter of Petit Monde's owner

Saku is inspired by the cherry blossoms of Japan's spring season, exhibiting their light & airy feel. It showcases the cropped kimono, as well as a variety of other lounge and easy wear in light pinks & bluer, in separates that can be mixed and matched in a  myriad of combinations.

URAHARA
so pretty Cheska Garcia-Kramer!

she never grows old! Ana Roces looked super posh:)

Urahara collection is inspired by Japanese street wear featured in Urahara, the backstreets of Harajuku where the trendy thrive and hang out. The collection showcases bold casuals in tribal and geometric prints, infusing Japanese street wear with the brand sensibilities of the Petit Monde girl.

SEKAI ("World") (my favorite collection of them all!)

Sekai collection signifies a more evolved and cosmopolitan Petit Monde girl. The most fashion forward of all collections, Sekai mixes elements from the 1st 3 collections in new silhouettes and rare fabrics (I heard they made their own prints & fabric!) for a more modern, high-end feel.

Highlight of the show-- Cheska Garcia-Kramer with Kendra! Aww.

Pretty Ana Roces and pretty dress!

Sunshine Cruz looked super high fashion

Petit Monde's endorser Maja Salvador rocked the runway!
