Got invited to try and check out one of BGC or The Fort's prized and hidden gem, world class resto PREMIO. It's located in the same building as the equally posh F1 Hotel. When Keigh sent us the invite, we immediately said yes in unison being the food junkies that we are. Heh. I was so weary and offbeat that day (came from work, 1st day of womanhood if you know what I mean and was still buzzed from Dani's bday the night before), but bringing Mich with me and capping off the night with friends over great food (minus the drama) made my tantrums (haha) go away. Photos! Grabbed some photos from Ana:)
love the table setup! pang rich kids of instagram hihi. Love the personalized name plates.
wasn't able to try these though.
delicious Buffalo Wings that Mich and I devoured. Hee.
one happy plate of sausage, grilled asparagus wrapped in bacon and grilled pork:)
Smoked salmon bilnis (macro fail)
the fanciest corned beef ever! Can't get enough of the sauce:)
The very unique Pork Belly Kare-Kare. Love the presentation. Feasted on this too. Yum!
Animal Fries. Can eat 3 plates of this!
Goat's Milk Panna Cotta! Our favorite!
Creme Catalana - milk flan topped with brulee shell.
Verdict: I love how each dish (even the drinks!) came out surprising-- from the taste, presentation, to the price. You really get what you pay for (and you don't have to pay much), what you deserve! This plus the homey feel of the resto, the ambiance and the outstanding service. The owner and chef, Ms. Franchesca Carino, even came out and took the time to say hi and chitchat with us. Chesca was a med student at UCLA who decided to turn her back from her childhood ambition to pursue her true passion, cooking! After years of training and studying (at Le Cordon Bleu Paris + being a line cook for Wolfgang Puck), and with the help of her loving parents, she decided to come home and open her own resto. Out of all the cuisines in the world, she decided to stick to what she loves the most, Filipino food! She named her baby (her resto ha!) Premio coz her goal was to create prize winning dishes through her unquestionable passion for food. After dining there, I could personally say, she nailed it! :)
I love how Mikhail, Premio's BusDev Manager, prepared games! Didn't win though (I missed 2). Sarah won the last one, when we each have to share our most prized accessory/accesories.
After dinner, we were asked to proceed to the mini bar upstairs! Such a chill place!:)
Ordered their Dayap Mojito, I love it! I will definitely go back and order this again:)
Thank you Mikhail, Chef Chesca and Keigh for having us!
Mich, Tracy and I stayed and hungout a little longer, then Aga Muhlach walked in and we froze. I tried to act cool though but I think I miserably failed. Lol. See? Even the celebrities love this place! I think because aside from all the reasons I mentioned earlier, the ambiance plus the classy interiors draw the reserved but chill crowd.
Anyway, I think it's time you guys check out Premio yourselves. We're already planning our next gastronomic feast! See you there?:)
But waiiiit! Good news! You could come with us! Or not. Your choice:) You could go with a friend or special someone:) Anyway, one of you could win P2k worth of GCs from Premio:)
